Oddly was just looking at buying this Frank Lowe on Discogs a few minutes ago…had no idea how funky it was. Love it

The David Storrs track was very reminiscent of Anthony Phillip's, I just can't recall which album? Oh well, very enjoyable!
Avatar Mon. 6/8/15 3:37am Jeff Conklin:

That's cool, John, I'm unfamiliar with Phillps' stuff...

Ahhhhh, you are on a roll. Where Eyes Fly low is one of my all-time favorite SCG tracks…serious late-night trance meditations…YES

Great Quicksilver, I always thought this is where the Dead got their Spanish Jam from.

Kirkwood is part of St. Louis

The Quicksilver/Dead set was really nice. Most folks don't realize what a good live band Quicksliver was. Beavo's right--I think the Dead got a lot of ideas (or at least inspiration) from Quicksilver. Nice to hear early on a Monday morning, thanks, Jeff!

There you go, a bustling metropolis it is then!

Jerry has said that John Chippolina was an influence on his electric playing.
Avatar Mon. 6/8/15 5:12am BEAVO:

Avatar Mon. 6/8/15 5:20am BEAVO:

Danny Kalb of the Blues Project, This track kind of reminds me of the Pentangle.
  Mon. 6/8/15 5:23am lafaro61:

Hey Jeff, thanks for the good portion of Krautrock.
  Mon. 6/8/15 5:41am Mark:

Where on earth does one stumble across the All-Saved Freak Band?
  Mon. 6/8/15 5:43am Mark:

People will be studying "The Complete Basement Tapes" for decades. Whole college classes are probably being taught on it already.
Avatar Mon. 6/8/15 5:54am Jeff Conklin:

As always, thanks to all of you hanging out and listening live and to those of you listening from the future....
