Hello, mauri. Good to see you.
Avatar    Sat. 3/7/15 7:00am Sem Chumbo:

@annie: it will be next winter before the Island digs out from this one. But a beautiful place, in season:-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sat. 3/7/15 7:08am annie:

sem, i can only imagine how breathtaking it might be.. photos really never do justice to a place. there are places where breathing is the experience
Avatar    Sat. 3/7/15 7:10am Sem Chumbo:

Amen.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sat. 3/7/15 7:10am mauri:

i've been as far north as downeast maine.. the further north i go the hungrier i get for rugged terrain
Avatar    Sat. 3/7/15 7:18am Sem Chumbo:

@mauri: would it be correct to say this, about your desire to visit?
Isoja kaloja kannattaa pyytää vaikkei saisikaan.
  Sat. 3/7/15 7:18am doca:

hi jeff, annie, sem, mauri, i don't need to say again how much I like this show
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sat. 3/7/15 7:20am annie:

doca, it's the highlight of my week, culminating at the long list of great FMU deejays
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sat. 3/7/15 7:21am annie:

"leaving the dales" = "farewell to tarwaithie"
  Sat. 3/7/15 7:21am doca:

@annie: it's the show I know I can't miss, though it is one of the few I can listen to entirely from the archives. I like to think as my little Saturday morning ritual
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sat. 3/7/15 7:23am annie:

i used to play this show at the cafe where i worked. the acoustics in the room made the music resonate so beautifully. i am in love with this show
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sat. 3/7/15 7:24am mauri:

HEya Doca.

@Sem hehehe . I've never been a fisherman. Wouldn't hurt to try to catch a big one, or atleast try to.
Avatar Sat. 3/7/15 7:25am Jeffrey Davison:

A little glitch on the last track...paused without warning!
  Sat. 3/7/15 7:31am Cooh John:

Popping out of the snow to say hello. Enjoying the snow and the show. The monochromatic scenery is a wonderful contrast to the polychromatic soothing soundtrack of my vacation.
  Sat. 3/7/15 7:39am Lewis Goldfarb:

Great start to a Saturday!
Avatar Sat. 3/7/15 7:51am dyingforbadmusic:

wow, Jim Ohlschmidt and Paul Kowalski that raga is cool! never heard about these guys. seems some rare private press
  Sat. 3/7/15 7:51am mike east:

Good morning. I agree this show is one of my favorite Saturday morning traditions along with coffee served in my weekend mug
  Sat. 3/7/15 7:51am Mark:

Digging this Raga on a snowy, beautiful Saturday morning. My house is so quiet. Even the dogs are sleeping. This music is perfect.
Avatar    Sat. 3/7/15 7:55am Sem Chumbo:

oh, my, yes.
Avatar Sat. 3/7/15 7:56am Jeffrey Davison:

Ohlschmidt has two records that I know of, one from '76 and this one from 1980. Numero Group featured a track on Wayfaring Strangers: Guitar Soli, by him.
Avatar Sat. 3/7/15 7:58am LynnsBrother:

Ah, music from the East...
  Sat. 3/7/15 8:00am Mark:

Just beautiful, Jeffrey. Never heard of him--thanks for sharing. Might have to pick up one or both of these albums.
Avatar Sat. 3/7/15 8:00am LynnsBrother:

Mike East...I didn't notice the kind of guitar she was playing.
  Sat. 3/7/15 8:31am mike east:

No worries...doesn't matter, just curious
  Sat. 3/7/15 8:32am mike east:

Anyone hear a hum in the background or is that my speaker?
Avatar Sat. 3/7/15 8:33am Jeffrey Davison:

It's not your speakers, unfortunately. It's some fugitive junk...
Avatar    Sat. 3/7/15 8:49am Sem Chumbo:

Thank you, Jeffrey, for this morning's music. Very much enjoyed Itasca's talk and tunes. See you next week.
  Sat. 3/7/15 8:49am mike east:

Not noticeable when music is playing and that's most important. Great stuff, thanks JD
