Avatar Tue. 2/25/14 12:20pm Doug Schulkind:

I was at WFMU the day Wesley Willis came to the station. He had a peculiar way of showing affection for people — bumping you with his forehead. (Actually, he bumped almost everything with his forehead.) He had a huge permanent bump in the middle of his forehead. He was really rather sweet, but he was such a hulking presence that it was still fairly intimidating. R.I.P. Wesley.

Speaking of sweet, hulking and fairly intimidating, how about making a pledge to TONY!
Avatar Tue. 2/25/14 12:21pm Tony Coulter:

Avatar Tue. 2/25/14 12:30pm Rich in Washington:

I arrived at KBOO studios just in time to see Daniel Johnston leave. He wasn't intimidating but really disheveled, so I just sort of waved at him as he was marched out the front door with his entourage.

Avatar Tue. 2/25/14 12:50pm Doug Schulkind:

Trying to imagine the entirety of the wellspring that is the Tony Coulter radio program is impossible. Aside from the fact that it is ever widening and deepening, its capacity is something to marvel at, not quantify.

The important thing is that it is a treasure that benefits us all and it is worth celebrating and supporting. Please make a pledge!
