I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Avatar Fri. 1/17/14 1:56pm Richard Nixon:

I've shared the bill with Spencer a number of times in Cincinnati. I have to admit I didn't realize that he had gone on to become ...err... famous
Avatar    Fri. 1/17/14 1:56pm DCE:

Yeh, he's pretty well-known for a "noise guy"
Avatar Fri. 1/17/14 2:05pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

The burrito was brave but fell to the mightier power. And now back to the drone ooze...
Avatar    Fri. 1/17/14 2:08pm DCE:

Turnip, Slayer of Burritos; we bow to you.
Avatar Fri. 1/17/14 2:14pm Richard Nixon:

Cool! I'm in a noise band in Cincinnati called Neato Torpedo that dates back to about 1995. We were very prolific until about 2006-7 when suddenly all of the noise band shows turned into these things where there were a dozen or more acts who each got to play for 15 minutes. It was right around that time that we started trailing off with our shows but we shared the stage with Spencer Yeh quite a few times around then. Now we only play about once a year and only when we have the stage or airwaves for 45 minutes or more.
Avatar    Fri. 1/17/14 2:18pm DCE:

you guys should come up to CLE sometime...but all of our noise shows are typically 20 min sets or less
Avatar Fri. 1/17/14 2:19pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

dammit i still need to spray my glands in Cleveland. This spring for sure.
Avatar    Fri. 1/17/14 2:21pm DCE:

that'd be awesome, Rev!
Avatar    Fri. 1/17/14 2:21pm DCE:

BSI been getting a little airplay on one of the experimental shows up here
Avatar Fri. 1/17/14 2:26pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

nice, DCE. -- sendingout new product (under a different name) - care to drop me a line via the friendship society cult-messagey thingie & lemme know the station out there? I'll get them a copy...
Avatar Fri. 1/17/14 2:27pm braveness23:

I appreciate the invite and I will take it into consideration. But I have to admit that it was precisely the advent of the < 20 minute set that killed the joy for me. The shows always seemed to be packed more with people who came to play and their equipment and girlfriends than actual audience members.
Avatar    Fri. 1/17/14 2:28pm fred:

speaking of infants, great news (for me): Joke Lanz will be playing at my fave venue next month
Avatar Fri. 1/17/14 2:30pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

LANZ! Top bloke, that one. Excellent.
Avatar    Fri. 1/17/14 2:33pm fred:

He's supposed to play turntables, quite different from Sudden Infant, that's why he's not using that name for this show. I wonder what it will sound like, but I expect greatness
Avatar    Fri. 1/17/14 2:33pm DCE:

wow, I never knew such a thing existed as that messagey thingy! technology, I stand in awe.
Avatar    Fri. 1/17/14 2:34pm steve:

saw Lanz a few years ago. thumbs up. had the crowd in the palm of his hand.

  Fri. 1/17/14 2:41pm LovecraftDude888:

Did anybody go to this Morton Feldman piano perf. last month, in Red Hook? I wanted to go but just didn't feel like dealing with traffic and such to get there for a 25 min. piece....
Avatar Fri. 1/17/14 2:46pm northguineahills:

@LovecraftDude888: Whhhaaaaa????? I had no idea. damnit! What venue was it at?
  Fri. 1/17/14 2:51pm LovecraftDude888:

man, I dunno it was like the New World Records perf. space or something in Red Hook? Never heard of them before. But I was like....oof, holidays, traffic, and 30 min piece..they were doing Palais de Mari. I bailed, but would have liked to go.
  Fri. 1/17/14 2:51pm nic:

a catastrophe of awesome is way cool rev
  Fri. 1/17/14 2:53pm LovecraftDude888:
