Now that's a very mellow start to the show. Hallo Herr Blumin!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 12/22/13 8:07pm Daniel Blumin:

Hallo, Looooms! How's this fer turning up the heat?
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 12/22/13 8:12pm Looms:

You know, I've just been listening to Scott Walker's Drift so my neurons probably need to cool off. This is perfect.

Goode Evening to Winter Neurons ~ Krell Labs - All.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 12/22/13 8:19pm Looms:

Hello RRN63!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 12/22/13 8:23pm JakeGould:

Ho there!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 12/22/13 8:24pm Daniel Blumin:

Happy not-so-winter-feeling winter, y'all! Neurons ready? Hallo Jake! Welcome onboard!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 12/22/13 8:30pm JakeGould:

Very disconcerting wearing a t-shirt today. Everyone bundled up seemed stunned.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 12/22/13 8:33pm Daniel Blumin:

Jake, could it have been what the t-shirt depicted???
Avatar Sun. 12/22/13 8:37pm The Count of Al Dente:

This is a great piece.
Avatar    Sun. 12/22/13 8:38pm Mayuko:

It happens all the time but I still can't help being impressed by the way you segue one track to another. Esp the last couple of tracks have sounded like one creature altogether. This Barbara track sounds great.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 12/22/13 8:38pm JakeGould:

Daniel, my t-shirts are graphic-less.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 12/22/13 8:41pm JakeGould:

Also, I didn’t mean they were stunned at me. But just tons of people bundled up in winter clothes but they subconsciously knew that was weird.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 12/22/13 8:45pm Daniel Blumin:

Thanks, Count & Mayuko! Tis a great track indeed! Jake, saw a guy in shorts on the subway. It's crazy endtimes as Camping predicted though he didn't quite live to see it happen!

Kawabunga Daniel. Nice to hear you back up on these waves...
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 12/22/13 9:09pm Looms:

Lovely set and french pronunciation, DB.

Hi Mayuko! Don't remember if I already said it but your radio zombies t-shirt made my neighbors' 2 yo daughter cry a couple months ago. Had to go back home and put on the radio bear one.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 12/22/13 9:14pm Cliff:

Hey, you're welcome!
  Sun. 12/22/13 9:16pm Little Fyodor:

What was I just thanked for??? I heard my name, but not what preceded it!! Well whatever it was, yes, you're welcome!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 12/22/13 9:25pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

These kinda African guitar stylings knock me on my butt. Nice choice of trax.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 12/22/13 9:26pm Daniel Blumin:

Halloooo Bud! Fyodor, twas fer contributing to the silent fundraiser!!!
Avatar Sun. 12/22/13 9:26pm Droll:

My sister's kids recognized the Día de Muertos FMU shirt I was wearing and thought it was cool, but their mom tried to convince them "Day of the Dead is a sick idea". The kids ignored her.

I was unable to convince any of them to listen to the station.
  Sun. 12/22/13 9:28pm jeff-m:

evening jerk. finally tuning in
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 12/22/13 9:31pm Cliff:

Well this is flippin' awesome.
Avatar    Sun. 12/22/13 9:31pm Mayuko:

Oh no Looms! I bet Mr.Blumin's show has been scaring some little people and/or cats somewhere in the world right now too. That's what wfmu does to people. I made the shirt accordingly, mission accomplished.
Avatar    Sun. 12/22/13 9:34pm Mayuko:

Droll, now I see the mission wasn't accomplished really.
  Sun. 12/22/13 9:35pm jeff-m:

wow. that Rob song was so good
Avatar    Sun. 12/22/13 9:36pm Mayuko:

BUT The Day of the Day is not sick at all! Japanese have a similar custom and it's biggest event is dance party. Deads in dancypantz day.
Avatar    Sun. 12/22/13 9:38pm Mayuko:

Oh no you were talking about the brown one Droll! sorry. I love that shirt too!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 12/22/13 9:40pm fleep:

I've been wearing the WFMU hoodie for weeks and remain invisible to anyone under 40. As usual.
Avatar Sun. 12/22/13 9:43pm Droll:

Mayuko, My sister still listens to Bon Jovi, she can't be saved, but her kids are 11 and 13 and it's not too late. They're too young for FMU but don't seem to have picked up on Def Leppard yet, either. They like Queen, so I turned 'em on to Queen II -- Ogre Battle!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 12/22/13 9:54pm JakeGould:

Leave the kids alone. Let them listen to what they want. Then when they want to explore new things they will. I mean I listened mainly to RUSH when I was 15, so what?
Avatar    Sun. 12/22/13 9:57pm Mayuko:

Droll, a friend of mine was trying to brainwash his daughter with "The Man-Machine" when she was still baby, THAT was too young! But 13 could be old enough to get some recommendations to new/weird stuff, I suppose.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 12/22/13 9:58pm fleep:

Thanks, DB!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 12/22/13 10:00pm Looms:

yhx, see ya!
Avatar Sun. 12/22/13 10:01pm Droll:

Jake, I do let them listen to what they want, but I always have recommended music to everyone, adults or kids.

Do you work for my sister? Even she doesn't tell me what I'm allowed to say to them.
