FYI, i was able to find about 2/3 of the songs Nic from !!! played at emusic. And there is a huge collection of stuff by Ghanian producer EL available called Something Else, and has that crazy jam Obuu Mo with the cellphone ringing on it.

Last saw Kool and the Gang in June 1998, performing live in the open air on Wall Street for an IPO for some company - along with Little Anthony and the Imperials, and the Dixie Chicks. They were great.

Whenever I see the name Kool and the Gang I always thought that since it is Kool with a K the word Gang should have a different spelling. But then there isn't really another letter that would work. I am sure those guys deliberated for hours on this. A J would not work. Another K certainly not.

Fuck, i always have a strange feeling when I listen to brazillian music which I actually never heard of on WFMU. Y'know, things here in brazil sometimes seems to need to travel through the whole ocean and fiber cables whatsoever to reach ourselves.

On the other side, that's the reason why WFMU exists and is so great...
