I think we need a CD FOR car alarms. I'm tired of the same old. Why not mix it up and let people personalize them like ring tones? Maybe folks would fuck with your car less if whenever they bumped bumpers they'd hear Blixa scream.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:26pm

Pinhas does it again!

I like the way you think Eyepatch. Let me know if you need any help. Let us see, what would be some of the more effective tunage to keep people away? I can only think of the category: Smooth Jazz!!!!!!!!!

@DCE - is that where they're all wearing radiation suits and respirators and everything is rotoscoped?
  4:44pm
WhiteRaccoon:

I just had the idea (interjecting on movie talk, sorry) of if there is any genre that Fabio has not played music from. Is there Fabio? I'm guessing "smooth jazz."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:44pm

yeah! and Neil and Devo jam on Hey Hey My My for like 10 very sick minutes

Avatar 🎸 4:52pm
Carmichael:

I don't think its out on DVD, but there are 2 VHS versions.
  4:55pm
WhiteRaccoon:

Wow YETI, that is great. You're talking about a genre Fabio hasn't played from right, not the car alarm? This could fit greatly into both.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:57pm

anything old and weird, that's for me
Avatar 5:00pm
YETI BOB:

Oh interesting, "Sweet Movie" is from the same director (Makavejev) as "W.R. Mysteries of the Organism" which I saw a few years ago. (WR = Wilhelm Reich, in this context). That was quite strange, this one looks quite a bit stranger.
Avatar 5:01pm
YETI BOB:

Maybe after I get through "Holy Mountain" I'll take the "Sweet Movie Challenge"
Avatar 5:25pm
Cecile:

I read summaries of both of those movies and was completely frightened.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:36pm

What? Jodorowski comics? I have to get a hold of those.

I watch WR a few years ago. It was definitely from a certain place in time. I liked it overall. I was really interested in learning about orgones at the time I watched it.
Avatar 5:37pm
the glowing one:

oh yeah, the dusty + fabio moments haven't come up yet.
  5:39pm
WhiteRaccoon:

There's a movie available on netflix about a beautiful woman who falls in love with a monkey, even though she is married. I watched the first 10-15 minutes and it was just too stilted for me. I can't remember what it was called--just did google search. The actress has a big name and it is French. Truly weird.
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 5:41pm
Andrew Waterloo:

@WhiteRaccoon, that sounds like something Serge Gainsbourg would do
Avatar 5:41pm
YETI BOB:

tfc: for a periood of time, AJ was not able to obtain funding for films, so it was easier and cheaper to make comic books. they are glossy sci-fi/fantasy, maybe not exactly what you'd expect ....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:45pm
tim from champaign:

Thanks Yeti. I'll still seek them out.
