Shadow Morton was from Hicksville, LI. I went to HS there. Wiki also says Elli Greenwich from nearby Levittown was his friend. I'm sort of from both places, as is a guy whose name is never mentioned on these shores.

Love Vanilla Fudge, finally saw the reunited original group a while ago. They did a fantastic Some Velvet Morning. To me, as great as the original is, it's the Vanilla Fudge's song, and prob Shadow Morton.
