I met Tom during GI's '86 Europe tour. Played 2 shows together in Holland & England. Would be interesting to hear some of his impressions of touring there, comparisons with the US, etc. Negative stuff is permissable. Positive too, of course

Ah Skip Groff... Sudden flashback: dumpster-diving outside his record store in the mid '80s, came up with like 50 copies of the Debbie Harry poster for the KooKoo album. Cut out all the eyes & plastered them all over my apartment. Strange days.

It was my Dad's infamous Electra 225 Buick G.I. did our cross-country tour in.

The show in Yugoslavia we were treated like the f'n Beatles! One of the coolest gigs G.I. ever had the chance to play. 14 year old boys kissing me on the face, yelling "You're the best band to ever play in Yugo-slayvia!"

And the big G.I. reunion we played for Steve McPherson was a benefit for his ear tumor operation.
