Can never tell how to approach these things, but, since it's a City agency, I'm going conservative. My last job, I showed up clean-cut w/ a tie, and my interviewers were in hoodies and jeans.... that was awkward.

	5:12pm G: I work 100% online. The last time I had a face to face interview was somewhere in the 90s. Clothes worn aren't relevant to the core tasks of many professional jobs, but they are atavistically important to the socioaesthetic preferences of the members of many organizations.

	5:17pm northguineahills: My last full-time job, our subcontractors would come into meetings in full business suits, our clients in business casuals, and my team were usually dressed as bums. Always loved around the conference table. Not officially hired, but everything looks extremely positive.

When I worked for the federal gov't, I had to wear a suit and tie, but they didn't understand tech. For the City, usually a polo and nice jeans. "Always love to see the disparity of dress around the conference table".

Can never tell how to approach these things, but, since it's a City agency, I'm going conservative. My last job, I showed up clean-cut w/ a tie, and my interviewers were in hoodies and jeans.... that was awkward.

When I worked for the federal gov't, I had to wear a suit and tie, but they didn't understand tech. For the City, usually a polo and nice jeans.
