  Fri. 11/30/12 10:17pm cklequ:

This is my favorite fill in show, but i've never actually caught it live.
  Fri. 11/30/12 10:17pm schwaab:

Yeah - headphones = better.
  Fri. 11/30/12 10:18pm schwaab:

Has 'fmu considered offering a higher quality stream? Even bumping it up to 192 would make a huge difference
  Fri. 11/30/12 10:20pm Cliff:

Maybe the bandwidth would be too expensive...they aren't exactly rolling in money lately
Avatar Fri. 11/30/12 10:21pm jeff-m:

I'm sure it's been considered. It's most likely an expense thing
  Fri. 11/30/12 10:23pm schwaab:

Yeah, I guess I have no idea about how much large amounts of bandwidth cost these days. Would be cool if some ISP would donate the bandwidth as a write-off, maybe
  Fri. 11/30/12 10:24pm schwaab:

But I'm sure all those options have been explored...
  Fri. 11/30/12 10:29pm dave:

one thing that'd up the audio quality at no cost in bandwidth is to offer a 128Kbps AAC stream. That said, a lot of controlled listening tests suggest folks are generally pretty satisfied with 128Kbps MP3.

loving the show so far, by the way. pretty much no show on fmu matches up with my musical tastes quite as perfectly as noise 'n syrup.
  Fri. 11/30/12 10:39pm Chop Scott:

Jeff! Always great to hear you on the air--Cheers!
  Fri. 11/30/12 10:53pm Scott W:

I second Chop Scott, and greet him. Hope to see both of you next Friday eve, hopefully we can get our hands dirty on some of the new toys on the 4th floor!

  Sat. 12/1/12 12:02am moogmannyc:

The Expo 70 track is reminding me of Space:1999. All those ethereal dark textures and the eerie silences that the series explored.
