Avatar Fri. 10/12/12 9:16am Scott:

Ah brasil, comin up next in fact. *hint hint*
  Fri. 10/12/12 9:23am doca:

i'm enjoying this brazilian moment, but i always feel strange when i listen to brazilian music here, because i don't listen that much by myself.
  Fri. 10/12/12 9:24am doca:

@Scott, do you know anything by clube da esquina? theiy're my brazilian music addiction right now.
  Fri. 10/12/12 9:24am Marmalade Kitty:

Fri. 10/12/12 9:27am Brian in UK:

Avatar Fri. 10/12/12 9:27am Scott:

Fri. 10/12/12 9:44am tim from champaign:

I missed the mic break. Is this a new Bardo Pond? (fingers crossed)
Avatar Fri. 10/12/12 9:47am Scott:

New Bardo Pond on Southern/Latitudes! WEll all right!
  Fri. 10/12/12 9:47am DCE:

who is doing this killer jam?
  Fri. 10/12/12 9:49am kris thompson:

sounds like Butterfield Blues Band
Avatar Fri. 10/12/12 9:49am Scott:

Indeed
  Fri. 10/12/12 9:50am kris thompson:

"East-West"?
  Fri. 10/12/12 9:50am DCE:

is this the Butterfield Blues Band?
Avatar Fri. 10/12/12 9:50am Scott:

Indeed
  Fri. 10/12/12 9:50am DCE:

ah yes, refresh comments regularly!
  Fri. 10/12/12 9:50am kris thompson:

too disciplined to be Quicksilver MS, haha
  Fri. 10/12/12 9:52am DCE:

that guitar tone kinda tipped the clue. haven't heard this in a long time.
  Fri. 10/12/12 9:52am kris thompson:

although this has the feel of parts of QMS' 'Happy Trails' album
Avatar Fri. 10/12/12 9:53am Scott:

totally.
Fri. 10/12/12 9:53am tim from champaign:

Wow, I've never heard Butterfield Blues Band. I always assumed they were hoakie 60s Blues Hammer revivalists. Wooden Shjips style rhythm section with raga guitar. Excellent. Something new to keep my eyes peeled for.
  Fri. 10/12/12 9:54am DCE:

I love John Cipollina's guitar playing in QMS...I think their long jams totally rival this one
Avatar Fri. 10/12/12 9:54am Scott:

Beware tho, this is not exactly a representative cut
  Fri. 10/12/12 9:55am DCE:

yeah, tim, most of it IS that way! this is like the only really good thing they did
  Fri. 10/12/12 9:57am kris thompson:

I agree... Cipollina was very unique. 'Happy Trails' is loose and excellent
Fri. 10/12/12 9:57am tim from champaign:

Thanks. Good lookin' out, buddies.
  Fri. 10/12/12 10:01am DCE:

slow pitch!
Avatar Fri. 10/12/12 10:05am Scott:

Man, are we STUCK AT 40%. It hasn't moved in days. Someone anyone, get that thing moving. Radio is important! :)
Avatar Fri. 10/12/12 10:05am Scott:

Noah Howard is all the pitchin' I need. Fuckin A.
  Fri. 10/12/12 10:09am DCE:

I saw some really great free jazz last night...I tell ya, Cleveland has got some hometown heros in that dept
  Fri. 10/12/12 10:10am DCE:

...and I've got the hangover to go with it.
Avatar Fri. 10/12/12 10:10am Scott:

Who was it? Any names?
Avatar Fri. 10/12/12 10:10am Scott:

Is Tiger Hatchery from CLE?
  Fri. 10/12/12 10:14am DCE:

Tiger Hatchery is pretty much based out of Detroit but they play with some CLEfolk sometimes when they come into town. Last night was Alex Henry/Nate Schieble/? Koderanz trio (horn/drums/bass)...if they ever come your way please see them. I don't think they have any touring plans though.
  Fri. 10/12/12 10:14am DCE:

also Jealousy Mountain (Germany) and Clan of the Cave Bear were on the bill. Late night.
  Fri. 10/12/12 10:19am BSI:

Avatar Fri. 10/12/12 10:24am Scott:

Woohoo, it moved! 41% YAY.
  Fri. 10/12/12 10:25am fred:

Fri. 10/12/12 11:03am tim from champaign:

Haven't heard D. Charles until now. I wasn't expecting this sound but I dig the boogie!
  Fri. 10/12/12 11:06am DCE:

  Fri. 10/12/12 11:07am DCE:
