Would point you towards any of their first three albums: "Everybody is Fantastic" and "We Hate You South African Bastards" (retitled "Love Your Enemies" after the fall of apartheid!) and "Clock Comes Down the Stairs"

Really love the first one, critics seem to give out about them not having found their sound on the early albums, but I love the variety.

Oh wow, you are playing all my heroines! Ari Up is another fave of mine. Love her voice, even later with her Jamaican accent. Lazy Slam is a great tune in that vein.

thanks so much for playing my song (narcotics day). I don't have a copy of my own record and wanted my sister to hear it. And double thanks for not fading out or otherwise truncating what turned out to be a much longer song than I had intended to record --- the instrumental fade still gives me the chills (not blowing my own horn; it's been so long since I recorded this that I don't even think of it as me!)
