I saw a band called Destruction Unit in Austin on Saturday. They opened for The Men. It was one of the most off the rails, chaotic sets I've seen in some time. I'm not sure how much material they have released, but they had an album for sale at the show.

Yep, Destruction Unit are great! They have a few records. Never seen 'em live but I can see the potential for great performance.

There were some technical snafus that led to instruments and other equipment being tossed about the stage. Bottles and cans and various other items were thrown at the crowd who in turn retaliated by throwing stuff back. Someone kept throwing lit fireworks onstage. I don't know if that's how a typical performance of theirs goes, but it was like being on a roller coaster. You're a little concerned for your safety for most of the ride but you get this euphoric "I'm alive!" rush when it's over.
