welcome back, Jason
  Thu. 6/7/12 9:04am duke:

I'll miss this show. One of my favorites. I hope you're off to bigger and better things.
  Thu. 6/7/12 9:05am Tom G:

Jason! I also heard you were leaving ... sad sad sad.
Thu. 6/7/12 9:05am Dead Corporate Eyes:

I thought that was debunked

I've been rockin my Talk's Cheap shirt ... I'll always have that and the memories.
  Thu. 6/7/12 9:07am Parq:

Ah, you're in today. Thought you might still be jet lagged. Ditto everyone else on your being off the summer sked, but if anyone off the sked is still going to have a hand in FMU, it's you.
  Thu. 6/7/12 9:08am Parq:

Speaking of your work, kudos on another great Primavera job. Making my way through the archives of the sets I missed. Just caught the Pop Group last night, blew me out of the water. And, I understand it's on the FMA? My cup runneth over.
Avatar    Thu. 6/7/12 9:14am jason:

hey thanks DCE, duke, ken, Tom G, Parq! Good to be back, i'm really gonna miss you all this summer, but hope to be back before too long. for now, let's play the hits!
  Thu. 6/7/12 9:16am Tom G:

Jason -- the Dick Clark of FMU !
  Thu. 6/7/12 9:17am groucho:

  Thu. 6/7/12 9:29am Michele:

Jason, I'm going to miss you on the air on Thursdays and Fridays at the station. Hope you will be back on before too long. Its exciting that you are doing new things though!
Thu. 6/7/12 9:30am Dead Corporate Eyes:

Meat Puppets=summervibes
  Thu. 6/7/12 9:32am Dave B:

Best of luck in all your future endevors
  Thu. 6/7/12 9:41am Mike East:

I have the same association, DCE. Good morning all.
  Thu. 6/7/12 9:42am BSI:

TALK SHEEP! You will be missed. There will be a gaping hole! Everywhere! Much respect & git back here ASAP.
  Thu. 6/7/12 9:50am Cecile:

Jason, have a great summer, and I hope you are as ubquitious as Hatch during his first "retirement".
  Thu. 6/7/12 9:50am Cecile:

killer KJ track
  Thu. 6/7/12 9:53am #K:

B) u r kool, Jason
  Thu. 6/7/12 9:54am Willr:

I once listened to KillingJoke for 22 straight hours while on a layover in Madrid
Avatar    Thu. 6/7/12 9:55am jason:

Willr r u serious?? I had a 22 hour layover in Madrid just a few hours ago!
Thu. 6/7/12 9:59am Dead Corporate Eyes:

moral of the story: don't go through Madrid's airport.
  Thu. 6/7/12 10:00am Cecile:

Can't you go somewhere and come back? I'd at least go get some dinner somewhere...
Avatar    Thu. 6/7/12 10:00am jason:

Bombino (not to be confused w/ Group Bombino) was one of the sets I caught at Primavera. They had a full rock drum kit, sounded like metal
  Thu. 6/7/12 10:01am Cecile:

metal good, or metal bad?
Avatar    Thu. 6/7/12 10:01am jason:

oh, i had a great time during my 22 hour layover! maybe too good of a time..metal good!
Thu. 6/7/12 10:01am tim from champaign:

I saw Bombino in Asheville about a month ago. It was fantastic! I loved it.
  Thu. 6/7/12 10:02am Willr:

jason - gotcha! never been to madrid, but i have been to CAL PEP where the waiter is a magician of prankery
  Thu. 6/7/12 10:03am duke:

There's just too much good music. I want to listen to more Primavera, FMA. I just read about the Frank Mogran movie, now I want to listen to him, FMU archives etc. etc. That's it. I'm giving up sleep.
Thu. 6/7/12 10:03am tim from champaign:

Cecile - Ever since you mentioned pasties and ketchup I've been hankering for some. I might have to try my hand at making some this weekend.
Thu. 6/7/12 10:04am Dead Corporate Eyes:

"pasties and ketchup" sounds like something Zappa might've cooked up. GROSS.
  Thu. 6/7/12 10:07am lewis:

I can't believe the ketchup thread made a jump! cool??...
  Thu. 6/7/12 10:07am Cecile:

Tim, just remember - two kinds of meat (pork and beef), slice or cube small, and ENJOY.
Thu. 6/7/12 10:07am tim from champaign:

DCE - don't knock it til you try it, buddy boy! Deeeelicious!
Thu. 6/7/12 10:08am Dead Corporate Eyes:

admittedly, I thought of something else when I saw "pasties"
  Thu. 6/7/12 10:09am Tom G:

this Bebey is so excellent
  Thu. 6/7/12 10:09am Cecile:

i don't like carrots in mine, generally, but I did have a good one with carrots. Finnish pasties in the UP:
carrots and the ingredients are cubed.
Cornish style: no carrots, and the ingedients are sliced into square little slabs.
  Thu. 6/7/12 10:10am Cecile:

PASS-tee.
Not PAY-stee
  Thu. 6/7/12 10:11am Cecile:

lololol!
We were on the floor when Alton Brown from Good Eats talked about "PAY-stees" on his turnover show. Good times.
  Thu. 6/7/12 10:12am George Serr:

Yeah Baby indeed.
  Thu. 6/7/12 10:12am pierre:

Merci pour toute la musique Jason, you are loved, and will be missed. See you soon around !
  Thu. 6/7/12 10:13am hamburger:

au - no flipper intros on thursdays + faust talkover music. not cooool!
Avatar    Thu. 6/7/12 10:14am jason:

haha hey Willr! i totally fell for it, you must've been studying that waiter's magic
Thu. 6/7/12 10:15am Dead Corporate Eyes:

we'll have to stipulate in Faye's contract that Faust MUST be played in the background. Intros are negotiable.
Thu. 6/7/12 10:16am Dead Corporate Eyes:

so is this the last episode for the near future then?
  Thu. 6/7/12 10:18am Cecile:

hey, you should play some Chicago freestyle music. That was a great show.
  Thu. 6/7/12 10:19am Willr:

jason - i owe you for taking advantage. Now I want to be a waiter just like him. Loving the show!
  Thu. 6/7/12 10:21am Cecile:

  Thu. 6/7/12 10:24am Cecile:

  Thu. 6/7/12 10:28am don:

  Thu. 6/7/12 10:57am WRECKEDUMB:

i can't find that song (Talk is Cheap?) on the Faust pages tracks list
  Thu. 6/7/12 10:57am meghan:

Stupid question.... Are playing classical music? The stream on phone isn't working and the FM dial is playing classical
Thu. 6/7/12 10:57am mark on the train to northport:

  Thu. 6/7/12 11:10am Nate the K:

Ya know, tough to admit it, but it totally slipped past me that that was a Wire cover.
  Thu. 6/7/12 11:11am Sometimes Jasmine:

But my Wednesday afternoons (London time) are soundtracked by your theme music. I feel all bereft and stuff...
  Thu. 6/7/12 11:12am jk:

Jason: you've made thursday mornings awesome! I'm sorry to hear you go from the dial for the summer but wish you have fun with whatever you are up to over the summer!
  Thu. 6/7/12 11:13am Nate the K:

Jason, good luck! One of my fave shows on the station undoubtedly. Faye is a worthy replacement.
  Thu. 6/7/12 11:13am Tom G:
