Off for a walk Mr Mac. so where are the cats then. Arf.
  Sat. 6/2/12 3:05am Martyn:

Good morning Bill and all.

And Spencer ... and Brian.
Sat. 6/2/12 3:07am SpBrian in UK:

Apologies for the dog, Bill. Had no idea he could type or had maths skills. Hope you are keepin' well.
Hey Martyn. Crap day down here.
  Sat. 6/2/12 3:09am Martyn:

Its nice(ish) here SpBrian.
Sat. 6/2/12 3:09am Brian in UK:

Great to see Steve Krinsky is following you.
Sat. 6/2/12 3:10am Brian in UK:

I'm barely conscious Martyn. Do not know how Bill does it.
  Sat. 6/2/12 3:11am Martyn:

I'm guessing coffee and the promise of a bagel.
  Sat. 6/2/12 3:13am Martyn:

... at least you can leave the talking to Spencer.
Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 3:13am Bill Mac:

Morning guys. Had to drive most of the way up in the rain myself. Not so bad, given the fact that the road crews aren't out clogging midnight traffic. Two hours of shuteye tonite, and a load of caffeine oughtta be good for the next few hours... yep - then the magic bagel at sun up. You might wanna get the dog a job Bri - he should be earning his keep!
Sat. 6/2/12 3:15am Brian in UK:

Proof reading cat food labels?
Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 3:25am Bill Mac:

Yeah, he should definitely be giving back
  Sat. 6/2/12 3:25am Steve:

Magic bagel...must have been the theme for something.

Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 3:35am Bill Mac:

This could spawn a new religion Steve... need to check more of this later
  Sat. 6/2/12 3:35am Stanley:

Blurry-eyed morning to all - was up a little late listening to Primavera. Glad to be back after missing the show for a couple of weeks. Good to see I recognise only two artists on the playlist so far.
Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 3:37am Bill Mac:

OK, so we aARE working toward the goal of discovery... after 8 years I wasn't sure.... Hey Stan!
  Sat. 6/2/12 3:44am KP:

  Sat. 6/2/12 3:53am Stanley:

Can I just take this opportunity to express my view on the current royal celebration in Britain?

Stuff the Jubilee!!!
  Sat. 6/2/12 3:55am Jay /London:

Hey Stanley good one its raining anyway he he
Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 3:56am Bill Mac:

The Royals do seem a bit clueless don't they? At least the kids seem a bit more involved with regular folks, but who can afford all that window dressing at this stage?
  Sat. 6/2/12 4:01am Steve:

You can even Like it

http://snipurl.com/stuffthejubilee
  Sat. 6/2/12 4:04am Stanley:

Bill - its obscene. The kids are clueless yahoos too, having spent their lives up to now in elitist schools and circles where everyone just fawns around them. They stand for the overprivilaged and underserving rich of this country.
  Sat. 6/2/12 4:06am Jay /London:

hey is it time we all sing alone with god save the queen by the sex pistols ?
Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 4:06am Bill Mac:

I thought I'd give them the benefit but yeah you're absolutely right. I don't get the general public's obsession of people that have money.... cause they hate the general public
Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 4:07am Bill Mac:

.... Jay sez as Bill spins the 1st PIL about in 20 years... I was going to play the live version of that last week... just ran out of time...
  Sat. 6/2/12 4:08am Emile:

Het Bill and all The Zero Hour heads... We are PiL!!!
  Sat. 6/2/12 4:08am Jay /London:

  Sat. 6/2/12 4:09am Steve:

The single has been re-released for the occasion

Saw PIL two years ago they were AMAZING
  Sat. 6/2/12 4:15am Jay /London:

Oh Stanley everyone's getting on the bandwagon
  Sat. 6/2/12 4:19am Stanley:

@ Jay, good to see that the Sex Pistols refused the request that they 'performed' as part of the pageant (as if they were some qaint aberration from the past) I want people to know we were not happy with the establishment then, and we're not happy now.
Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 4:19am Bill Mac:

That's right Jay... Come on, plenty of room for everybody!
  Sat. 6/2/12 4:20am Emile:

Hey anyone else saddened by the demise of Ween? They were one of the only contemporary band that I would buy any new record by. They petered out but made some records I'll be listening to for years...
  Sat. 6/2/12 4:22am Emile:

Wow, I missed William Parker, DAF, AND Crimson... serves me right for showing up late..
  Sat. 6/2/12 4:22am Jay /London:

right Stanley they also wanted them to play the opening of the games which they also turned down .. then there was that butter advert
  Sat. 6/2/12 4:22am Steve:

It ain't all bad..

Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 4:23am Bill Mac:

Yes Emile... stop me if you heard this before, but I saw them at a small club in Philadelphia near where they lived. Their families were there. They were brilliant as well. I don't listen must anymore but I think the Pod is one of the best double albums (I first saw it on LP) ever made... too bad but 15 years, you can't argue with that.
  Sat. 6/2/12 4:27am Emile:

Cool, Bill... The Pod came out in 1991, so we're talking 21 years ago.... I'll take White Pepper, Quebec, and 12 Country Greats on my iPod skull implant when it's time to go to the nursing home....
Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 4:27am Bill Mac:

Any Ween you want to hear, anybody? I got one to play already
Sat. 6/2/12 4:31am Brian in UK:

Newly minted coins n cookies.... mmmm-mmmm
.... we mean it maaaaaaan!!!!!
  Sat. 6/2/12 4:33am Stanley:

Thanks Steve - that's melted the ol' cold-hearted heart a bit. The royals dontchya just love'em?
  Sat. 6/2/12 4:33am Jay /London:

I vote for god save the Queen
  Sat. 6/2/12 4:33am KP:

Woods is great. New to me.
  Sat. 6/2/12 4:34am Jay /London:

@ Brian how's it going ?
Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 4:35am Bill Mac:

Yeah KP, nice edge to the folk idea...
  Sat. 6/2/12 4:38am KP:

Saw PIL years ago. Felt Missioh of Burma blew them off stage but ... friend saw them a few months later, they were doing pistols and said they were outrageous.
  Sat. 6/2/12 4:38am KP:

I dig Celtic and English folk.
Sat. 6/2/12 4:38am Arne in Turin:

Nice! Traum. Hilarious background choire. Great guitar. A bass like Mother's Finest.
Sat. 6/2/12 4:39am Brian in UK:

Jay, not so dusty. Cannot get worked up about this weekend.
KP Woods did a live set on FMU in the last year or so I am sure, trying to find it.
Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 4:39am Bill Mac:

Really PiL doing the Pistols.... not much irony there
  Sat. 6/2/12 4:39am Jay /London:

I would just like to say its not the queen i do not like it's all the money being spent on this weekend also will be very hard to get about the queen has done a great job for the past 60 years .. i will shit up about it now .. sorry it i have gone on too much
Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 4:40am Bill Mac:

Yo Arne! glad you dig it!
Sat. 6/2/12 4:53am Arne in Turin:

Great stuff! Unfortunately, I got to go to the local farmers' market now, otherwise the cheese lady with the killer goat cheese will be gone. See you...
  Sat. 6/2/12 4:53am Jay /London:

@ Bill cats always talk back .. but when they are ready
Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 4:54am Bill Mac:

Hurry up man.... music can wait but food can't! See you
  Sat. 6/2/12 4:55am Looms:

Hello up everyone!
Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 4:56am Bill Mac:

Looms! Happy Saturday!
  Sat. 6/2/12 4:56am Emile:

Bill, I'm with you on getting older / going back to early musical loves... happening here, too. One 'new' band I was exposed to recently is Disappears - the new CD is awesome... you'd probably dig it...
Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 4:57am Bill Mac:

That sounds familiar... I'll need to check but I bet I've played something from it.
  Sat. 6/2/12 5:04am KP:

just opened ceremony. came today.
Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 5:09am Bill Mac:

What is that KP?
  Sat. 6/2/12 5:14am Looms:

Bill, got your prenium yesterday. Great selection, man! I dig it.
  Sat. 6/2/12 5:14am Emile:

Lovin this set...
  Sat. 6/2/12 5:15am Jay /London:

@ looms still waiting for mine :(
  Sat. 6/2/12 5:17am Stanley:

@ Looms countdown to swag.........any day now
  Sat. 6/2/12 5:19am Looms:

@Jay: it's just page 2 of 2 of my swag packing ID (which contains Bill's prenium only). I assume page 1 of 2 will arrive later; I usually get my swag in july.
Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 5:21am Bill Mac:

I hope so.... i don't know how many thousands of orders they got to ship out every year but it's all done here by a handful of people. It couldn't hurt to hit the swag director up for a target date.
  Sat. 6/2/12 5:25am Jay /London:

@ bill the swag director ?.... love this track ( somebody down there likes me) .. great voice
  Sat. 6/2/12 5:26am Looms:

@Jay: Joe McGasko
Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 5:26am Bill Mac:

Brother JT.... one of my favorites... seems to be able to do most anything at this point.
Sat. 6/2/12 5:28am Brian in UK:

@Looms I have exactly the same 2 of 2 containing Steinskis DVD. guess the other will follow.
  Sat. 6/2/12 5:29am Stanley:

Brother JT is the find of the year for me. Often humming along 'Brother JT, Brother JT'. Bill, you know the one.
Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 5:30am Bill Mac:

The operation is controlled chaos but they get things out in pretty short order..
Sat. 6/2/12 5:30am Brian in UK:

Joe's show is worth catching but over here it is 5-8am on Sundays.
  Sat. 6/2/12 5:30am Jay /London:

@ looms i will give it another two weeks, I am sure he very busy @ Bill have you got another Brother JT you could play before the end .. if not well ... just maybe a cramps he he
Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 5:33am Bill Mac:

@Stanley That's on the new one. I've been following him for about 10 years, he plays here maybe once or twice a year (now that he's pushing 50!) There's an in-studio he did on Brian Turners show from about 5 years or so back...
Sat. 6/2/12 5:33am Brian in UK:

Bill seeing the Starless & Bible Black reminded me that it came from the opening of Dylan Thomas' Under Milk Wood. Narrated by Richard Burton, a wonderful use of the English language.
  Sat. 6/2/12 5:34am Stanley:

Thanks Bill I'll check it out
Sat. 6/2/12 5:35am Brian in UK:

This bed music makes me want a choc ice.
Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 5:41am Bill Mac:

That's the first time the bed music had that kind of a reaction
Sat. 6/2/12 5:41am Brian in UK:

Mick Farren was about late 60s/early 70s. I think with the paper International Times as well.
Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 5:42am Bill Mac:

I just read something about his journalist career very recently
  Sat. 6/2/12 5:46am Jay /London:

@ Brian bed music its what they used to play in cinema's way back when before the film came on with the organ rising out of the stage
  Sat. 6/2/12 5:47am Looms:

Note to self: check out Mick Farren. Great track.
Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 5:48am Bill Mac:

The Deviants Ptoof is another goodie with Mick...
Sat. 6/2/12 5:48am Brian in UK:

I remember going to Leicester Square Odeon circa '74 ish to see Disneys Robin Hood and the organ did arise' majestically, flashing lights and all.
Avatar Sat. 6/2/12 5:50am Bill Mac:

Man, sometimes I think I should start listening to the show to figure out your riddles...
  Sat. 6/2/12 5:50am Jay /London:

@ Brian i saw that too think the organ is still there
Sat. 6/2/12 5:51am Mark in DC:
