Have Sun Araw put out a bad record? Every time I hear something new it's always pretty cool.

Hi DCE, and anyone else hanging out! It's only the 2nd song and I fear I might be playing this at the wrong speed. If it's nebulous, I always go for 45 over 33, ha ha!
|
Mon. 10/24/11 9:11am
Dead Corporate Eyes:
I don't think they're capable of putting out anything bad at this juncture.
|
Mon. 10/24/11 9:11am
Dead Corporate Eyes:
you may be right about being wrong about the speed, but it sounds good this way too!

Mon. 10/24/11 9:45am
pierre:
is it one of the purpose of "singles going steadty" making creative mistakes as 33/45 slips?
|
Mon. 10/24/11 9:45am
Liz B.:
Yeah, ABJ are so much fun!
|

|
Mon. 10/24/11 9:59am
fred von helsing:
hmm the letters of "stunt turntable" can be rearranged to spell runt nut battles, or bat tunnel strut, or butt nut rentals, or lunar butt tents, or rat butt tunnels, or... :-O

Ike:
Woo hoo! My creaky old heap just passed inspection at the DMV, and I didn't have to play a cassette while waiting in the long, barely-moving line of vehicles because your show was on. I even left it on when they took the car to test it, and the DMV guys didn't turn it off, so they got a dose of you too. Maybe they'll pledge. Heh.

Miniskirts/Itchies:
Thanks for playing our record, Liz! We are honored to be included among your faves of the year! We never realized that The Miniskirts with The Itchies was suggestive of anything, but now that you mention it...
|
Mon. 12/19/11 1:16pm
Valia:
That last song you played is not a Last Drive song. It's called "Secret Corporations" and it is part of a solo EP that their guitarist released in 1986. You should definitely check the Last Drive! THEY are the best greek rock band! Back in the 80s WFMU used to play them frequently; I remember, the Hound liked them a lot. They are still alive and kicking.
