  3:22am
jeff-m:

  3:36am
Flip Turner:

Ghetto Scholarship; The Consolidation
  3:40am
Looms:

Hello Jeff & everyone. Enjoying this first set and a few croissants.
  3:42am
jeff-m:

bonjour Looms, croissants sound really good right now.
  3:51am
D in Miami:

Great show so far. I always have to catch it in the archives, though, since it comes on so late. But it conjures up some great dreams as I sleep through it.
  3:55am
jeff-m:

Thanks D. Not a bad thing that you are sleeping.
  4:00am
Looms:

Do you already know about the summer schedule, Jeff?
  4:00am
D in Miami:

Yeah, I have a lot of similar stuff in my collection. Great for sleeping!
  4:09am
jeff-m:

I won't be on the Summer schedule. Hopefully be back in the Fall though. Might look into doing a podcast. They can be tricky to do though with copyright issues.
  4:15am
Looms:

Bummer but at least you'll have full night's sleep on sundays.
  4:19am
Looms:

The summer schedule is always shaking the habit anyway.
  4:25am
jeff-m:

new schedule will probably be up on the home page on Monday I would guess. Shouldn't really say much about it I guess, but sleep will be nice.
  4:31am
jeff-m:

one of the channels is extremely quiet on this cassette. that or it's our player. Hopefully it still sounds OK as I really like this track
  4:32am
Bas, NL:

Good morning Jeff,
I'm really enjoying the calm selection. And a podcast for summer would be great!
  4:33am
jeff-m:

Hi Bas. Just changed it up on you, but i was digging this record earlier...
  4:34am
Bas, NL:

No problem Jeff; it fits perfectly. Love it BTW..
  4:38am
Looms:

Hello Bas. You were right about the Swans' set at Primavera, it was dope.
  4:40am
Ike:

Good show! Sorry to hear you won't be on this summer.
  4:41am
Bas, NL:

Bonjour Looms! Ah, thanks for reminding me... still have to check EN!
  4:41am
jeff-m:

have yet to hear that set myself actually. Only got a chance top listen to the ones that aired on Friday
  4:42am
jeff-m:

Hi Ike, morning to ya
  4:47am
Looms:

Yes, it's worth it. Every song sounds like an upgrade; very impressive.
  4:51am
Bas, NL:

John Mannion is now on my 'wants' list. Too bad it's a bit expensive with shipping from Hanson. That's always the one drawback on ordering releases on vinyl ...
  4:54am
jeff-m:

Hanson is mostly a tape label too, but yeah I might order that myself. Was in the new bin here. Don't know if they get much European distribution.

I still order things in Euros and still the conversion hurts a lot. the Pound too.
  4:57am
Bas, NL:

The other way around; the dollar is always a nice surprise.. ;)
  5:04am
Adam in Portland:

jeff-m, I will miss your show during the summer, but, will also expect it in the fall.
  5:08am
Adam in Portland:

SXSW
  5:11am
jeff-m:

thanks! for reason I couldn't remember at that moment.
  5:12am
Adam in Portland:

Happens to me quite often. :-)
  5:13am
Adam in Portland:

We each have a lot of "minding" to do in this information age.
  5:15am
jeff-m:

it's funny, I still get so nervous during mic breaks
  5:16am
Adam in Portland:

The cliched tactic of thinking of all us listeners naked really might prove useful. Some of us are truly hideous. Ha.
  5:20am
jeff-m:

ha, that might distract me more.
  5:22am
Adam in Portland:

Hahaha. Great point. We are all out here gnashing our gums in excitement, befitting a painting by Goya. ;-)
  5:24am
Bas, NL:

Sign of the consummate professional... never an easy mic break.
  5:25am
jeff-m:

yeah , that's it. I because I'm too good
  5:27am
Adam in Portland:

Just remember, Frank Sinatra showered up to 12 times per day. WTF?
  5:28am
jeff-m:

wow, that would be very inconvenient day after day
  5:29am
Adam in Portland:

I know, right? And we think we are burdened. Hahaha.
  5:30am
Adam in Portland:

Mic breaks are nothing when compared to all the Chairman's Bryllcreamery.
  5:31am
Bas, NL:

I suppose Frank Sinatra loved to sing in the shower? It's the kind of music...
  5:32am
Adam in Portland:

I'd like to learn more about the secret life of a Japanese [elevator.]
  5:35am
Adam in Portland:

Speaking of Bryllcream, I really must buy a copy of The King of Comedy. What a classic!
  5:36am
jeff-m:

never seen that before
  5:37am
Looms:

Aaaaahn Scorcese at his best. Not a big fan of what he did since Bringing Out the Dead though.
  5:39am
Looms:

Correction: Not a big fan of what he fas done AFTER Bringing Out the Dead
  5:40am
Adam in Portland:

It's a fantastic film!! One of my top three DeNiro films, no question.
  5:41am
Adam in Portland:

@Looms: wasn't Jerry Lewis a force in that film? Loved it!
  5:41am
Looms:

Ditto
  5:42am
Looms:

Yeah, it was Lewis playing a quite scary character. Amazing.
  5:42am
Adam in Portland:

I actually enjoyed Gangs of New York, or rather, Daniel Day-Lewis exclusively in it.
  5:45am
jeff-m:

cool , I see if I can watch it this week when I get a chance
  5:45am
Adam in Portland:

Looms, your silence is telling. Hahaha. :-)
  5:45am
Looms:

I hate Gangs of New York. Daniel Day-Lewis is a great actor though. There Will Be Blood is one of his best performance to me; and a wonderful movie.
  5:46am
Adam in Portland:

It is fine, fine work. Report back afterwards. :-)
  5:47am
Adam in Portland:

Looms: I could not agree more. He put together a highly remarkable performance in There Will Be Blood.
  5:49am
Adam in Portland:

I'm going to shut my eyes and drift for the final ten minutes of this fine exercise. Night, All. Great talking with you.
  5:50am
jeff-m:

G'night and thanks for tuning in.
  5:50am
Looms:

Sleep tight Adam!
  5:53am
Looms:

Gotta go, bye all.
Thanks for the music, Jeff! Excellent show.
  5:54am
jeff-m:

bye Looms. and thanks for listening as usual. Enjoy your day
  5:55am
Bas, NL:

Goodbye Looms!
  5:58am
Bas, NL:

Thanks for the sounds Jeff. Looking forward to the Autumn already.
  6:00am
jeff-m:

thanks Bas! happy Sunday to you. be back next week too :)
  7:15pm
Bas, NL:

Great news! :D
