Morning guys, no Jesus never came over to today. We were supposed to listen to the baseball game together on the radio. made food and everything

Looms:
Damn'! I sympathize, man. These preachers are not to be trusted...
|
Sun. 5/22/11 3:42am
D. Blumin:
Actually, we DID meet Jesus, Looms. But Jeff is a little too modest to say so... We have been raptured and are quite happy. Thank you for asking...

Wow, now that's a good news, Daniel! Hope you guys didn't drink too much water ;) Serious question: do I have time to get some bread before Robin Storey starts playing (don't wanna miss a single minute of the set)

D. Blumin:
You have to be precise if you want to make sure you're on board fer the REAL second coming, Hamburger! Very important - beware of Belgian waffles in this hour of spiritual need.
|
Sun. 5/22/11 4:03am
hamburger / london:
how about malted hops and barley, bible got anything against that?
|
Sun. 5/22/11 4:07am
D. Blumin:
You are ok there, Hamburger... As long as you don't overindulge in the barley...
|
Sun. 5/22/11 4:13am

Whereas Christophe Charles, I was introduced to his work with this very track (great comp btw). Most of his recordings is available as free download on his website http://home.att.ne.jp/grape/charles/ Losts of amazing sounds are to be found there.

Welcome guys. I also recommend "dok" by Oval (on thrill Jockey). Markus Popp used a lot a sounds and field recordings by Charles.

Sun. 5/22/11 5:40am
Looms:
What festival was it yesterday, Bas?
|
Sun. 5/22/11 5:47am
Bas, NL:
It was a sadly poorly advertised festival 'Electronic Frequencies' in Amsterdam by Dutch free-form station 'concertzender' and the STEIM institute. All and everything on the history of electronic music and composing. Lots of modern 'live' acts and readings on composing then and now. It was a very interesting day! He, he.. and i got a good pile of CDs to proof it. Even bought an original STEIM 'Cracklebox'.
