Meghan:

Oh no? Everything okay over there annie?

And Wino, I know Dave...... wise to not fully trust him. You can never trust a punk rocker that can do drag convincingly....
  8:22am
Elwyn:

I saw Chicks on Speed with The Residents and Severed Heads about 5 years ago.
  8:22am
well, poop returns:

Holy crap, I haven't heard this New Order song in ages. One of my favorites and if I remember correctly this is the only track on Republic I can stand.
  8:24am
Meghan:

*giggles* I love the idea of poop returning.... And I totally agree too. I haven't heard this song in forever too
  8:25am
Elwyn:

@well, poop:
Didn't you like "Regret"? I also loved the video clip except that it makes me want to have a European holiday again. Can't afford it.
  8:25am
Marmalade Kitty:

It's the end of the world as we know it - REM
  8:26am
mohawkdave:

Drag, perhaps. But never without a bottle! =:)
  8:26am
Meghan:

Very very true Dave! Very very true!

Kitty- I figured that one was so obvious I got rid of that one and Tears for Fears too....
  8:27am
Elwyn:

I know this is too much information but I'll just say it. Poop can return. One of my housemates at my last place had a horribly artificial diet (eg cereal for dinner and breakfast, no fresh fruit). He'd flush and it would appear to him to disappear but then a few hours later, it'd come back up the bend.
  8:27am
well, poop returns:

@elwyn

Ah, I forgot "Regret" was on that album. I dig that one too. Republic is by far my least favorite of their albums from their first run. It does not get a lot of love in my album rotation.
  8:27am
A Wonderful Wino:

i'll put you up in my shack here in Leicester, Elwyn. You can't get more Your-a-peein' than that. By the way, Feelin' the early 90's sounds meghan.
  8:27am
well, poop returns:

@elwyn

Is the clip for "Regret" the Baywatch one?
  8:28am
A Wonderful Wino:

and poop returning? What about: )) < > ((
  8:28am
Chuck:

Hum... Can Dave make himself look like Divine in "Pink Flamingos"? Then drag and bottle totally go together...
  8:30am
Meghan:

He's better with the super skinny kind of drag....
  8:31am
pierre:

forcément Daft Punk !
  8:31am
Andy in Berlin:

The curse of autotune!
  8:32am
jeff p:

autotune is fine if used in the correct hands. In the case of Daft Punk, those are some fine, fine hands
  8:33am
Elwyn:

@poop returns:
I forgot about how there are multiple versions of N.O. videos for most of their songs.
I think this is the one I was thinking of but it isn't loading on my computer:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHGYkYBD0h4
  8:33am
mohawkdave:

@ chuck: Maybe not as wide, but sometimes just as sloppy....
  8:34am
Dave B:

Gotta agree with Jeff P there. They aren't trying to correct warbling....
  8:35am
Andy in Berlin:

...or create warbling. Eeee!
  8:35am
hamburger / london:

do the songs have to have the theme name in the title, or is it okay if it's mentioned in the song / what the song is about?
  8:35am
Marmalade Kitty:

Rings around the world.. for a rings theme??
  8:35am
pierre:

ok this song is twice in the theme with the name of the track + plus the name of the album...
  8:37am
Dave B:

a BONG robot?

oh, never mind - BOMB robot!
  8:38am
jeff p:

I step away from my computer for a minute and come back to meghan saying, "What are they going to do, sick a bunch of cocks on you?"
  8:39am
Dave B:

Must have been some big cocks!

http://instantrimshot.com/index.php?sound=rimshot&play=true
  8:39am
hamburger / london:

hahaha jeff p
  8:39am
Meghan:

That is kinda awesome...... Aren't you glad you left your computer to come back to that!
  8:40am
Chuck:

At least we know where Dave's head is at. Hum... I think I could make a BONG robot....

LOL!!!! Jeff P!!!
  8:40am
jeff p:

I don't even know what it was in reference to. And I don't care. That's the winning comment of the day.
  8:41am
Marmalade Kitty:

The Cocks were unarmed..? Hardly a fair fight!
  8:42am
Meghan:

It was the news of the weird.... which is kinda awesome anyways, so you should read it....

Hamburger- it's usually the song title, THOUGH it has to be IN the song too! I have played songs that are about the theme but not named it....
  8:43am
Chuck:

Gotta be careful Marmalade KItty! You could get peckered to death!
  8:43am
glenn:

my "i know it's too late, but at least i got my two cents in" request is never turn your back on mother earth, by sparks or neko case. doesn't matter
  8:44am
A Wonderful Wino:

ooh, Levellers - Levelling the Land!?
  8:45am
Meghan:

BAH! I just noticed I played this before. Damn you Billy Bragg seducing me with your voice to forget!
  8:48am
Chuck:

By the WFMU Constitution it's not a crime, Meg...
  8:50am
Meghan:

yeah but by my rules it is.....
  8:50am
Chuck:

If it was we'd have to get the SWAT team and Bong robots on you...
  8:52am
hank:

its a womens world....
  8:53am
Richard from Venezuela:

Hi friends.
  8:53am
Meghan:

Morning Hank and Richard!
  8:54am
Dave B:

  8:55am
Andrew:

I was just about to say 'Stone Roses' !
  8:57am
Parq:

Anybody else think all the songs from Elvis C's first US album sounded better when he was doing them with the Attractions during the '77-78 tour?
  8:57am
Dave B:

Have a great week folks. Gotta get ready for the grind....
  8:57am
glenn:

qu'est-ce que c'est "rules"?
  8:58am
Parq:

Wait, you're really not gonna play "Day Glo"? Ah well, ce'st la guare.
  8:59am
Marmalade Kitty:

au revoir pour l'instant
:)
