12.26.2010....6AM...A crippling snow storm this afternoon & tonight. No, this will not be one of the biggest snow storms the area has ever seen...but in terms of overall significance, it'll be pretty high up there. The reasons : #1 Most of the snow will be moderate to heavy during the duration of the event. #2 Abnormally strong wind gusts (50 to 60 MPH at times) will make this storm stand out over Nor'easters of the past. Most of the accumulating snow will begin this afternoon , with the worst of conditions to be experienced this evening & tonight. Blizzard conditions are likely the further east you live. In fact, the highest of accumulations look to be closer to the coast as well. Moderate coastal flooding may be a concern tonight along coastal sections. Total Snow : 6 to 13 inches of snow in western sections. (Glassboro, Philadelphia , Trenton , Flemington , Morristown , Sparta areas) and 8 to 15 inches east of these locations...including along the coast. (isolated higher amounts are also possible) Light snow may linger around early Monday morning , but will end by 10am in most areas. Strong gusty winds will continue on Monday. Updates will be issued as needed.

Does anyone else always (and I mean always) have a song in their head? I mean if a song is playing that can take over but if it's just a regular situation then I always have some song playing in my head - it actually makes for some very funny moments when I realize after a few moments that the song is somehow appropriate.
