  Wed. 8/4/10 9:12am annie:

been spending the last two days cleaning a basement, and listening to local am radio....... this is a nice breather from the humdrum religion-based oldies station.... 274 degrees, AAP? wow.. you've topped ours of 175

Checking in from DC, where conditions are vile. I'm not going outside until it's a nice brisk 57 degrees, with about 70% cloud cover and a blustery wind...

  Wed. 8/4/10 10:20am Roger:

I remember a review of a Crack the Sky date in the Acquarian back in the 70's. The headline said "crack your eardrums". I guess they were loud.
  Wed. 8/4/10 10:21am Maria D:

  Wed. 8/4/10 11:02am still b/p:

That was a great set. Except for the early jaw breaking threat, it all made a body feel good.
Wed. 8/4/10 11:09am Denise in DC:

BSI, I hope you've stocked up on plenty of food and cold beverages, because you won't be leaving the house for several weeks.
Wed. 8/4/10 11:11am Denise in DC:

I'm hunkered down in my Federal office/bunker, preparing for my office's national conference, which starts next week. I need 'FMU to get me through today.
  Wed. 8/4/10 11:16am Kat:

OMG Bloodrock. Their song "D.O.A." scared the crap out of me when I was in junior high. The lyrics to this one are pretty hilarious though - ice cream cones and laying eggs?
Wed. 8/4/10 11:18am Denise in DC:

I remember D.O.A.! Scared the crap out of me too, which is why I loved it. Haven't thought of it in years.
  Wed. 8/4/10 11:24am still b/p:

A Boston Top 40 station polled listeners on whether DOA should continue to be played, but of course it was more radio gimmickry than democracy.
  Wed. 8/4/10 11:29am timotato:

Great show today, Duane.
  Wed. 8/4/10 11:29am stingy d:

hi. my bike was stolen. now i can't work. thought i'd say hi.

what new bike should i get?
Wed. 8/4/10 11:34am Rebecca in Hoboken:

Stingy - if you live near Hoboken they auction off the bikes they find regularly (probably all the stolen bikes taken for joy rides). I'm not sure what the prices are but the city website says when the auctions are and lists the prices. Great show Duane!
Wed. 8/4/10 11:35am Rebecca in Hoboken:

Oops they list the bikes (model and type) not the prices. Then I'd know what the prices are.
  Wed. 8/4/10 11:35am Ashley:

how can i get this fever down naturally?
  Wed. 8/4/10 11:39am naturally:

more cowbell!!
  Wed. 8/4/10 11:40am still b/p:

Very sorry for bike loss. Thieves make my eyes and bones and soul see red. And their scurvy mission focus will get past heavy locking or protective disabling. Remember this?

  Wed. 8/4/10 11:46am stingy d:
