Scott B.:

Was lucky enough to have caught Omar Souleyman last night and I gotta say that it might be my favorite concert of the year so far. Just a blazing performance and by the end, I think everyone was actually on their feet and dancing - don't see that too often!
  12:31pm
Liz B.:

It was amazing to see so many folks dancing at IPR last night! The heat was almost unbearable, but had it been a bit cooler out, I think the dancing would have been completely outta control!
  12:43pm
BSI:

aaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

  12:54pm
Steve:

Woww, this stuff is so awesome. So rockin' and moving. I cannot stop listening. I have to get back to work, but this is worth waiting for. I hope this set is available for later listening. Been listening since 12:30
  12:56pm
Liz B.:

Thanks Steve, glad you're enjoying it! The whole show will be archived later today, so you can go back and listen again if you wish.
  12:59pm

  2:12pm
Skirkie:

Do you leave the radio on so the cat can hear your show?
  2:12pm
CheriPi:

I Facebooked King Kong Ding Dong... it was not a band page ((((blush))))
  2:14pm
Liz B.:

Happy b-day Steve!! Skirkie, I actually don't leave the radio on for the cat, I'm a little kooky but not that kooky.
  2:14pm

efd:

I try to remember to deliberately *not* to leave the radio on WFMU when I leave to do my show, but once in a while I forget and I always wonder if my cat gets confused.

Great show, Liz! Thanks for the plug.
  2:16pm
Mebob:

I would leave the radio on for the cat, but only if she insists..
  2:17pm
CheriPi:

Wow! The story of the Meow Meow song is so wonderrrful! http://www.sleepymammal.com/html/wayang_kucing.html
**ThanksDCE for the correct link, I never would have associated their band name with weenies, until recently.
  2:18pm
Dead Corporate Eyes:

you have a very pure mind
  2:21pm
Duke of Earl Grey:

I leave the radio on in my apt. when I leave, but really just to scare away burglars. The cats never pay attn. to the radio, even if you're playing cat noises or cat jingle bells, etc. Damn cats ought to appreciate the awesomeness of FMU! What's wrong w/them?!? Anyway, great show Liz.
  2:22pm
Dead Corporate Eyes:

am I the only one with no cats around here?
  2:23pm
Skirkie:

I used to have a cat. He was an asshole. His hobby was vomiting.
  2:23pm
david:

any cat song is alright in my book
  2:58pm
jeff-m:
