This Boodle Boy reminds me of old school Scanner.
  Wed. 6/2/10 1:01pm chris:

Hope the summer leads to great things for you, Maria, including your return to the wfmu etherwaves... we'll miss you madly.
  Wed. 6/2/10 1:02pm Cecile:

  Wed. 6/2/10 1:20pm zoot:

Wow, I was just burning some Big Star (including O My Soul) to help a friend get through chemo. Thanks Maria for being on the same vibe.
  Wed. 6/2/10 1:25pm Cecile:

zoot, I'm sorry to hear that. My friend just got through with radiation a couple months ago.
  Wed. 6/2/10 1:28pm zoot:

Yeah, he's on his third round of radiation and chemo and has a long row to hoe. Music is keeping him together. He's getting through with the Free Music Archive, some recent tunes I've acquired and all the vinyl I've converted to mp3 (when is WOMAD/Music and Rhythm ever going to make it to cd?).
  Wed. 6/2/10 1:30pm Julie Schuck:

Ive been trying to find that Bayou Song by Tina - it's not on itunes and i can't find it for free on any bit torrents... short of ordering the whole record on Amazon anyone have any ideas of how to get the MP3?

you can always try youtube
Wed. 6/2/10 1:33pm Duke of Earl Grey:

I used to think that jellyfish were the scariest thing in the world but now I think it's cancer and chemo. I would curl up in a ball and die of fear if I had to get chemo.
Wed. 6/2/10 1:38pm Duke of Earl Grey:

Oh, and good show Maria. Really dug that LCD Soundsystem-Lazer Crystal set. That was perfect. Here's to health! <clinks glass of sun tea>
