Welcome to Galway and Day Two of the 4th Annual Community Skratch Games -For this broadcast we are at Bell Book & Candle owned by Paul Deacy (who has run the store since 93.). This book store is amazing and because today (Good Friday) is a holiday with many businesses closed and all bars closed (except in the town of Limerick). Lined up today to perform are WFMU regulars the Vince Mack Mahon crew featuring Jimmy the hideous Penguin, Deviant, Mikey Fingers, and Tweek, MyNameIsJohn (formerly Johhny Doobs),Bitwise and Madek on drums + bass respectively), Tony Higgins (formerly with SoCow) playing electronic drums and laptop, the artist formerly known as Mirakil Whip - Anne-Marie Deacy unveiling a brand new composition playing various hardware (she works here at Bell Book & Candle where her brother's the owner) along with Gavin Prior under the band name Fuaim Bhac, Jay Red under his alias MC Mimic doing a piece he is debuted tonight about the coyote catching the roadrunner, Chris Coffee (WFMU fan) playing laptop and midicontroller, Jimmy Penguin + Ventolyn & Becotyde (turntables and drums), Fidel Cutstro (UK) from Community Skratch Games (2009 uk tour) and Surgical Cuts, Mikey Fingers + Tweek (formerly Tuphat Paddys), Irish emcee Muipead, and more including bonus beats by Chiwawa Studios & Rumbus Merrylegs ...........Stop by if you are in Galway where we broadcast live 8pm to 11pm local time.

This is damn good, colorfully creative.... very nice.

I actually had a friend in town in nyc last weekend for a rugby tournament on Randalls Island. Yes, some of us play rugby, although I haven't played since i was 21 since my body can't take it. Heck I've pretty much given up soccer by the time i was 31 due to my body falling apart.
