Hi Jesse: I've from time to time participated in these forums on WFMU, but I don't think your show. I've listened since you started tonight, and have been kinda-slowly zigzagging my head to your thread, if you will. That Clancy Brothers was the key. Nice touch! I'll keep listening...

Great! (I was just composing a follow-up e-mail in case I'd been clumsy.) I'll send it (or two, perhaps). I think you'll like them. You might play them on a later show! (I'll bet that you will, too.) And man! I'm truly enjoying your setlist so far!

Hullo! We are streaming from Melbourne, Australia! It' dusk and warm, and you are playing the perfect tunes to end the day. WFMU is so so ace - open all hours! CHEERS! X

Toronto Jim:
Hi Annie (and the other part of "we"): I can imagine how the tunes are fittingly meshing with your Melbourne warmth-dusk. Odd thing is, it seems just as well suited to my approaching-dawn here in Toronto, where the winter has finally at last blown in.
|
Mon. 12/7/09 3:55am
jj.:
Heya Annie! Welcome! I'd sort of planned for cold weather listening, but glad to know it works in warmer climes, too.

Toronto Jim:
The plains always get winter first, and often the worst winters. Up here we get the "lake effect" which actually moderates winter a wee bit. (Still very cold, but damp) But Buffalo? Jeezuz, they get it bad every year -- something about the shallowness of Lake Erie...
