papaya man:

this reminds me of an article about kraftwerk in the late 90s in the guardian. they said ralf was living at his sister's house in " a room of which possessed walls and ceiling covered in mirrors"
  1:22pm
Cecile:

I always respected Kraftwerk because they were not only wrote amazing songs, but they have always been of the school where "an artist has a responsibility for what they put out." It's kind of interesting to hear the epitome of musical modernism have quite an old-fashioned attitude.

Papaya man, that's a cool story.
  1:39pm
dylan from la:

edan. cool stuff.
  1:41pm
Lulu:

This Edan Echo Party sounds like DJ Small Change is dj'ing!

I agree, Looms!
  2:21pm

it was taken form the running in place locked groove LP, but I was messin with it
  2:23pm
Jeff from St.Paul:

Awesome. I can't wait to get that LP.
  2:36pm
Cecile:

awesome. This is how the Cure should have sounded like. 100% atmosphere, no Robert Smith.
  2:40pm
Mark from Pompton Plains:

I saw that "Chicken Pot Pie" episode of Just Shoot Me when it was first on the TeeVee, brand new!
  2:44pm
Cecile:

You're pitchy, Jeff.
God, this song still brings the smell of burning chicken grease to my mind. I used to clean a restaurant kitchen to this 8-track overnights.
  2:47pm
Parq:

Classy save there, Miss Maria. Anyone else here old enough to remember when a WFMU deejay would have routinely let that skip go on for 30 or 40 seconds before fixing it? Would have been ca. 1982.
  2:51pm
maria:

tenks parque. I try.
  2:53pm
Cecile:

this top drawer is amazing.
  2:56pm
MFPP:

At least, Cecile, we agree!
