Hey Wb your guest mentioned "Main" as an ambient act. That's one of the guys from the old group Loop (Robert Hampson, I think?), who went on to make progressively more stripped-down, guitar-sourced ambient stuff. You could start with the double CD "Hz" for more ambient material, or go for "Motion Pool" or "Hydra Calm" for more guitar-y stuff that sounds like Loop. The general rule seemed to be: "no drums". It's all great.

Wed. 9/16/09 9:39pm From: Tom ( The Bactrian Support Network )

Wed. 9/16/09 9:48pm From: Wm.

Wed. 9/16/09 9:52pm From: Wm.

Wm- I did not get to mention that I have a release coming in 2010 that will only be Fm "buddha" boxes, the "Black boxes" and true Buddha drone boxes. This will be super limited. Thanks again-james

Wed. 9/16/09 10:22pm From: jabladav

it's called "Machine Communion"

Wed. 9/16/09 10:41pm From: SiHV

Jabladav, really enjoy your take on black metal and ambient. Ever get into Corrupted? "Llenandos de Gusanos" may be about the greatest extreme doom / spaced-ambient one-two punch ever.
