I *love* this show today! You are hitting some of my favorites, and I'm also finding ssome new faves... (Pascal Comelade, Tycho Brahe). And, I have tickets to see WAND tonight at the Empty Bottle (Chicago), so I'm really happy to hear this track. What record is this on?

"It's Todd! Todd! I hear Todd!"
Greetings Maria!
BTW, for all you listeners wondering about the marathon premium mailings, our swag for the higher-than-mouse pledge we made arrived today! The box was so round, so firm, so fully packed! Nice job, mail room volunteers!

Wed. 8/5/09 2:20pm From: Dead Corporate Eyes

Maria was my first WFMU sweetheart...I hope you're back to stay!

Wed. 8/5/09 2:23pm From: fishmonkeystew

Hey Max, I still haven't received my swag for my (3) $75 DJ pledges (or whatever you call 'em). Any ideas?

Wed. 8/5/09 2:31pm From: -max-

fms: See the main webpage for the station and scroll down, and towards the bottom left-hand side look for "Listener Services Director & Swag Inquiries Joe McGasko" and click on Joe's name. It links you in to an email page allowing you to email him directly. I know that some items were delayed, which held up the mailings, but he is THE person to check that out with. Enjoy!

Wed. 8/5/09 2:39pm From: maria

Hey Fishmonkey, you should email Joe Msgasko with swag questions- he'll help wit dat- oh I See Max said that just now

Wed. 8/5/09 2:43pm From: fishmonkeystew

Maria and Max: Thanks! I just dropped Joe a line. The last I heard, he (Joe) was still waiting for Bryce to finish his pledge comp. That was back in May or June. No worries. WFMU is still the best. Besides, the anticipation is half the fun.

Hey Maria- what was that Stereolab song?

Wed. 8/5/09 2:54pm From: maria

I Think it was from Switched on, But that was from a show I did 1993 so memory doesnt serve. Ans I lost my Playlists book from that era, so , sorry can't be more specific

Wed. 8/5/09 2:56pm From: sj

Thanks!

Wed. 8/5/09 3:01pm From: sf spike

I love old Todd Rundgren, at least you picked the really good stuff and not the dreck -- he had a lot of that too.

Wed. 8/5/09 3:02pm From: Dum Dum Guy at the Gates of Dawn

I remember seeing Todd Rundgren many times at the old Capitol Theater in Passaic. Very good. Now, say "Todd Rundgren" 10 times out loud real fast. It ain't so easy, is it.
