February 15, 2009: Aussie Valentine w/ Guest DJ Robert Vickers (ex-The Go-Betweens)!
Robert Vickers joins Daniel Blumin for a special post-Valentine's Day guest dj set. Most might know Vickers from his time playing bass in The Go-Betweens (1983-1987), but Robert started out in the Brisbane punk scene playing in The Numbers before moving to New York and joining new wave power-popping band The Colors (1979-1983). Robert will be spinning some tunes from Down Under and talking about the late 70's scene in Australia and of course the Forster/McLennan partnership. Listening to music and chatting as we cry bitter Valentine's Day tears by the bucketful. What could be better? Tune in!

Lindy, 80's Aussie Indie?...very tasty stuff. My ears are little radar dishes twitching about focusing in this very meaty mixture. This history narrative is cool.
