i dont think those tiny animals are too bad

Sun Dec. 9, 2007 9:18pm From: dave

something about the baby pandas on the homepage makes you first go "awwwwwww" and then go "that thing looks like it wants to feast on my flesh". but then you go "awwwwwww" again. and then you see its gaping maw and recoil in fear. and then the "awwwwww" again.

i can get stuck in loops like this for hours.

In Rainbows disc 2 Yes! IF I HAD IT!!! Call Thom Yorke IMMEDIATELY.

Sun Dec. 9, 2007 9:20pm From: zoe

the newborn pandas are a little creepy...

however, they aren't as bad as newly hatched baby birds. those really gross me out.

Sun Dec. 9, 2007 9:20pm From: j.freedom

Tiny panda things...disturbing.

Sun Dec. 9, 2007 9:22pm From: Freeware

Sun Dec. 9, 2007 9:30pm From: powiva

do i want to cuddle them? do i want to eat them? do they want to eat me? will i awaken to find them crawling all over me at night? i don't think i can look again.

Sun Dec. 9, 2007 9:31pm From: Nels

Yes. To cuddle with or feast upon. That is the question.

Sun Dec. 9, 2007 9:33pm From: horatio

Ron Paul 2008 - for the future of the baby pandas.

Sun Dec. 9, 2007 9:38pm From: Ike

Baby pandas: I vote for "that thing looks like it wants to feast on my flesh." They will haunt my nightmares henceforth.

Sun Dec. 9, 2007 9:39pm From: slugluv1313

awwwwwwww i think that the newborn pandas are just WAY too CUTE (but hey, i am apparently one of the few females out there who thinks that newborn human babies are repulsive, gross, etc.)

and as for latching onto one's flesh . . . hhmmm, don't most newborns (well mammals, at least) sort of latch on to their mother's flesh?

Sun Dec. 9, 2007 11:55pm From: Listener David

Isn't this music from the scene in "Risky Business" when they were on the train "doin it"?

Sun Dec. 9, 2007 11:55pm From: dave

i really like this jose maceda piece.

also, on your sentimental fave version of jingle bells: i think that the melody of jingle bells is so clunky and difficult to like that it's ONLY the amateur (preferably drunken) versions that retain any charm.

Mon Dec. 10, 2007 12:00am From: dave

oh, and DUR, that was the steve reich piece, i should've recognised it.

Mon Dec. 10, 2007 12:00am From: The Real Dave

I do radio at WWUH-FM (Univ of Htfd). Years ago I played Reich and people would often call and complain. I love Reich! Thanks for playing it. Listening in Tolland, CT. Good show. Dave
