Hey man I feel ya pain on the bike being stolen!!!!--just about a year ago,? from my yard in a FLASH took my ""Atala"" 10 speed from 30 years ago since I was like 18 Ihad it I'm 47 now ... I am still sick over it -- this baby even had ,, original "Campy Nuevo" deurallers, cranks & Brakeset ,, ... keep the good music & the show going and mellow out have a cold one !!!! some say ,"just a bike!!!"" haha if we only had more of them instead of cars what a better world it would be !!! PEACE!!!

The part about maybe not having locked up the bike hits home - I think this happened to me a few years ago, only they also took the lock!
The important thing is to make sure that while you may have lost a bike, you haven't lost biking. Getting another bike won't replace your loss, but it will get you back on a bike, which will make you happier. If you don't have a lot of spare money for a new one, but would be happy to have one with character (and good karma) check out http://www.recycleabicycle.org/
