Mon. 9/24/07 12:30pm From: Liz B.

This is me right now, Jessica... sorry for the confusion. Carlos' DJ set is coming up in about an hour.

Mon. 9/24/07 12:31pm From: Sean Dead

is it true that you have to be named "sean" to listen to this show? and is it true that as a toddler (age 18 months thourhg 4) Devandra Banhardt's hippie mommy fed him magic mushrooms and tied headphones on the impressionable lil fella's head playing T-Rex's catalog on repeat for 18 hours a day? The poor little thing!

Mon. 9/24/07 12:32pm From: north guinea hills

Mon. 9/24/07 12:33pm From: Sean Daily

Charlie *must* stay, if only for his singular annual kick-off of the Marathon finale.

Mon. 9/24/07 12:48pm From: Shaun of the Meds

Parq, forget the marathon finale, doesn't Charlie always kick off the entire marathon?!?! Love your show Liz.

Mon. 9/24/07 2:24pm From: Miguel Infante

Concerning to what the're sayin well, tha thing is that here in our country society is still in a conservative way of living, in all ways i mean, we haven't still been taught to cuesestion our own culture in order to change the old paradigms of understan culture and how can this change without loosing our traditions.. Our models are still very stiff but however there's always people (few) that try to do those little changes in order to express art. Like painters like Diego Rivera, Siqueiros, and filmakers like this nwe generations that's going on, and music to, but changes take time, specialy after having a goverment model that last for more than 100 years or the catholic system that has controled many peoples mind .. Maybe tha us has more people that do underground music, 1st. because it has 200 million people, and 2nd because they have money to back up this ideas, 3rd, it's some kind of media like wfmu that goes for that, but eventhogh this happens there still many many americans just listen pop music or country music and live in a very conservative way, maybe because of the protestantism model or tha system.. Ok too much words.. jeje..
