Listener comments!

Tue. 8/21/07 9:23am From: Lang

Usually you do not have to clear your throat, it will just uhhh, 'fall away' if you resist the urge to clear it. People who use their voices professionally are urged to refrain from clearing the throat as it causes strain to the vocal chords.

Tue. 8/21/07 9:39am From: Parq

As the rain pelts down and I try to scrape myself together for another day, that lengthy, swirling accordion piece was just the thing. Well chosen!

Tue. 8/21/07 9:39am From: Vocal Coach

Speak deeply, from the diaphragm.

Tue. 8/21/07 9:43am From: Hatch

My diaphragm is clogged with phlegm, so that probably won't help much.

Tue. 8/21/07 9:45am From: Pamela

Extra Golden, though it's from Kenya (and Benga music?) sounds a lot like Zimbabwean music. I think they stole it...

Tue. 8/21/07 9:47am From: Hatch

Well two of the guys in the band are American, so it's possible that they are influenced by more than one African nation's music.

Tue. 8/21/07 9:57am From: dave in montreal

Nice show as always Hatch! But one question: do you receive many obscene fishing tips?

Tue. 8/21/07 9:59am From: Hatch

Unfortunately no. I'd love it if someone sent one, though!

Tue. 8/21/07 10:25am From: fish hater

how you give fishing advice when you hate fish so much hatchy??

Tue. 8/21/07 10:40am From: Hatch

It's true, I once had a severe fish phobia. Luckily I've overcome it.

Tue. 8/21/07 10:41am From: Taj Mahal

Betcha goin fishin all of your time, baby's goin fishing too
Bet your life, your sweet life, catch more fish than you
Many fish bites if ya got good bait
Here's a little tip i would like to relate

Big fish bites if ya got a good bait
I 'a goin fishin
Yes i'm goin fishin
And my baby's goin fishin too.

Tue. 8/21/07 11:08am From: djl

Sundart sounds similar to a cut from TonT's Expanding Headband..Cybernaut?

Tue. 8/21/07 11:19am From: Hatch

Not really what I was thinking of... maybe I've just heard that song before.

Tue. 8/21/07 11:37am From: Woody

Tue. 8/21/07 11:38am From: Woody
