Liz B.:
Let's play a game! Who would win in a fight: Lemmy or Courtney Love?
|
Mon. 8/13/07 12:06pm
Bad Ronald:
Lemmy | |
|
Mon. 8/13/07 12:11pm
north guinea hills:
after watching tank girl, i'd have to go w/ lemmy
|
Mon. 8/13/07 12:12pm
Edzo:
Lemmy would crush her like rotten grape.
|
Mon. 8/13/07 12:12pm
Brandon:
yay! Laura Logic! Erm, Courtney is completely plastic. Lemmy is completely plastered. Either way, neither would feel much. so a long fight is inevitable.
|
Mon. 8/13/07 12:15pm
north guinea hills:
merv tribute, suite! | |
|
Mon. 8/13/07 12:17pm
Brandon:
Which one of these three thoroughly repulsive humans will win tonight's JEOPARDY?
|
Mon. 8/13/07 12:18pm
john:
merv griffin vs tony wilson!
|
Mon. 8/13/07 12:25pm
north guinea hills:
aristaphones vs. deleuze (barenuckled)
|
Mon. 8/13/07 12:25pm
nEGATOR:
cOURTNEY WOULD WIN. lEMMY WOULD SPEND A SHORT TIME WITH HER, THEN SHOOT HIMSELF IN THE FUCKIN' HEAD.
|
Mon. 8/13/07 12:26pm
David:
Would Lemmy have been able to defeat Kurt? I think Courtney has a better record, and more money.
|
Mon. 8/13/07 12:26pm
Listener Mike D.:
On the surface, Lemmy is the obvious choice. But then again, Courtney Love was able to bed many of the biggest names of 90s alt rock despite being a horrid sea-hag of some kind. Therefore, we can conclude that Love probably has mysterious powers beyond those of mere mortals and might prevail in a fight with Lemmy using those unknown abilities.
|
Mon. 8/13/07 12:32pm
Liz B.:
Round 2! Who would win in a fight, Gene Simmons or Ozzy?
|
Mon. 8/13/07 12:32pm
Sean Padilla:
Essential Logic is one of my favorite punk bands, so thanks for playing them! The Courtney Love of 1994 would KILL Lemmy. Unfortunately, the Courtney Love of today wouldn't stand a chance against him.
|
Mon. 8/13/07 12:34pm
Ken:
A better match would be Ozzy versus the Pillsbury Dough Boy.
|
Mon. 8/13/07 12:35pm
obscure1:
Ozzy only has his mouth going for him... and too old and abused to do much in THAT fight
|
Mon. 8/13/07 12:36pm
Sean:
Ozzy woud win. He's more, ahem, self-medicated than Gene and wouldn't feel a thing.
|
Mon. 8/13/07 12:36pm
Sean Padilla:
The first half of that Akron/Family song sounds like Pink Floyd's "Bike" set in a hootenanny! LOVE IT.
|
Mon. 8/13/07 12:46pm
Bad Ronald:
Ozzy | |
|
Mon. 8/13/07 12:50pm
Bad Ronald:
Rick Allen vs. Michael Stipe
|
Mon. 8/13/07 12:55pm
bwalker:
you have time for games, the show, and the playlist?? Liz.. how do you do it!
|
Mon. 8/13/07 12:56pm
john:
sharon osbourne vs gene simmons would be a fairer fight and probably more brutal.
|
Mon. 8/13/07 1:00pm
Liz B.:
Rick Allen would definitely win over Michael Stipe!
|
Mon. 8/13/07 1:06pm
Noel:
Henry Rollins Vs. Iggy Pop
|
Mon. 8/13/07 1:08pm
Bad Ronald:
Yeah I guess you're right, he assaulted his girlfriend after the accident...
|
Mon. 8/13/07 1:10pm
Bad Ronald:
Henry would win, Iggy only hurts himself.
|
Mon. 8/13/07 1:10pm
Sean:
Henry Rollins. He's younger and, if things started to go bad for him, he could always deploy The Neck.
|
Mon. 8/13/07 1:14pm
Ryan:
I would want Henry to win, but Iggy could take him out with a kick to the face while Henry is kneeling down to kiss Iggy's ass like he always does.
|
Mon. 8/13/07 1:20pm
Liz B.:
Next round! Mick Jagger vs. a badger, who wins?
|
Mon. 8/13/07 1:21pm
Bad Ronald:
Pete Townsend, (armed w/guitar) vs. Roger Daltrey, (armed w/mic)
|
Mon. 8/13/07 1:22pm
Brandon:
Mick smells worse | |
|
Mon. 8/13/07 1:23pm
Bad Ronald:
Depends on how big of a badger? (Liz: I thought it's supposed to be rock stars)
|
Mon. 8/13/07 1:24pm
Liz B.:
Yeah, I cheated. Ok, how about Mick vs. Billy Idol?
|
Mon. 8/13/07 1:25pm
Bad Ronald:
Jello Biafra vs. Leonard Graves Phillips
|
Mon. 8/13/07 1:26pm

Mon. 8/13/07 2:56pm
Liz B.:
Ok, Jeremy, I'll try to get you an MP3 this week!
|
Mon. 8/13/07 3:00pm
Ken:
Sorry Liz and Jeremy - I have to veto that EAS tone delivery. The Man doesn't allow us to have any fun with that tone at all.
|
Mon. 8/13/07 3:23pm
Sean:
Darn the man! Darn the man to HEEEEEEEEEEEECK!
|
Mon. 8/13/07 3:26pm
Liz B.:
D'oh, after I typed that I figured The Man would be proprietary over his EAS tones... Maybe you could do a cover version, Sean.
|
Sat. 8/18/07 3:45am
