We shot mostly in Union City, but used the blocks near the Holland Tunnel as a double for Greenwich Village. Bloodhounds of Broadway the film. I still have the key to Union City--which they gave us in a little ceremony. I was a PA and would drive Madonna home quite a bit--I'm sure that was her first exposure to WFMU!

	♥ 5:04pm Ike: Speaking of erotica, my parents insisted that I read this 1,000-page novel, The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett, from 1989. It’s very addictive. But who knew a British epic historical novel about the building of a cathedral in the Middle Ages could be so horny, gruesome, and violent? Underneath the classy facade, it’s not any more respectable than Stephen King’s The Stand. And much, much hornier.

But I can’t argue with that King-level prose talent.

There's a book whose title escapes me, but I discovered every 10 pages a sex scene or a violence scene. You could literally see the author went back and put in pretty irrelevant scenes just to fit with the editor's requirements.

We shot mostly in Union City, but used the blocks near the Holland Tunnel as a double for Greenwich Village. Bloodhounds of Broadway the film. I still have the key to Union City--which they gave us in a little ceremony. I was a PA and would drive Madonna home quite a bit--I'm sure that was her first exposure to WFMU!

But who knew a British epic historical novel about the building of a cathedral in the Middle Ages could be so horny, gruesome, and violent? Underneath the classy facade, it’s not any more respectable than Stephen King’s The Stand. And much, much hornier.

There's a book whose title escapes me, but I discovered every 10 pages a sex scene or a violence scene.
