I did not see the eclipse, but I heard that we only had a sliver visible from The Mid-Valley. We got a very good eclipse a few years ago, and I took the day off and went to a NASA hosted event. It was great!

There's a few scientists who pump you with facts and slides and charts and info, and they hand out viewing glasses, teach you how to watch it safely, etc. It was a couple hours, and we could have stayed later to talk eclipses if we wanted.

Excellent. I was a proud Dad today. My son texted me a photo of a funky/sci fi-pinhole-eclipse-viewer he made out of cardboard and duct tape. It looked like something outta the Jetsons. He said it worked well and he was sharing it with his friends at school
