Oh, I am aware!

Yes, I made it there. A friend wanted to have his bachelor party meal there after a day at Belmont. Because of reasons, I ended up late for the dinner after coming from the emergency room. I was extremely sober, which set me severely apart from the rest of the party. One of my friends mistook the schmaltz for OJ and poured some into his ice-cold vodka. It did fascinating things.

It's always fascinated me how Sinatra succeeded as a serious actor in a way that few musicians do, then pretty much quit and went back to being Frank Sinatra for the rest of his life. I can't blame him, but it would've been interested to see him take some later roles.

I dig Livingston Taylor (James' brother). I've seen him perform a few times.

He played at my undergraduate alma mater a handful of years after I graduated. The events director told me that he stood outside the auditorium doors before the show and shook hands with people as they were filing in, because he wanted to get a feel for what the audience was like before he went onstage.
