Worse was that it was because The Pogues did an aftershow party there the night before and I missed that. The silver lining is that a guy there took pity and proceeded to school me on whisky (I first said I didn't like the stuff). Turned out he was the owner, and that I do like the good stuff. I didn't pay anything for that lesson, but it was all the learning I did that day

Worse was that it was because The Pogues did an aftershow party there the night before and I missed that. The silver lining is that a guy there took pity and proceeded to school me on whisky (I first said I didn't like the stuff). Turned out he was the owner, and that I do like the good stuff. I didn't pay anything for that lesson, but it was all the learning I did that day
