When I worked at 30 Rock in the mid-80s, you'd often see Abe Vigoda having his lunch in the NBC cafeteria. He had no business there; it seems he just liked both the atmosphere and a bargain. That's why he was always available as a last-minute fill-in guest on Letterman or for a spot gag on Conan: He was already in the building!
