Very few people were there. Art talked at length about Gumby's inception in his garage in West Covina. This show got the ball rolling for the Gumby revival. After that, all the art houses in L.A. started having Gumby nights, which were hugely popular.

The Alligators were trained to go down a slide into a pool of filthy water. They had a popcorn machine in the entrance. I threw my wadded up popcorn bag at an alligator and hit him on the head much to the delight of my sister.
