Checked Wikipedia entry on Thorne and Hatfield moors which describes Bunting's Beavers - activists who fought the peat extraction by Fison's. A bit like the Money Wrench Gang. I met Bill Bunting once. A real character. I had hippie style hair at the time. Man, did he give me grief for that, along with a few slugs of whisky
