It failed to chart.
Later the Turtles discovered a crappy version of Happy Together in White Whales' song bin. Many passed on it.
Kaylan & Volman grabbed it & worked on it for eight months.
They knew they had a hit and in an act of extreme friendship, put Like The Seasons on the B side. A rare thing.
Happy Together became a multi-million dollar seller earning both the Turtles & Zevon beaucoup bucks & his first gold record
