Boonton is the BEST!
I live in Boonton!
The old Boonton-Ware factory is now...
A Walmart (wah wah!)
However, it had a very interesting effect on the business landscape. We have an awesome main street, but nothing on the main street can do anything that Walmart can do.
So we have a ton of fantastic restaurants, some boutique clothing stores, a ton of art galleries, some antique shops (which used to be all Boonton had), and the best damn coffee shop in the world.
Boonton Coffee!
Boonton Coffee is totally independent, yet huge now (but still super comfy) and in it's new location on Main Street due to its vast earlier success. And it's also a venue now that hosts music.
AND they let you hang as long as you want, no harassment.
A TRUE 3rd space!
