I'm part of the Facebook group for former employees of CE and some folks remain loyalists for some inexplicable reason. They chastised the book. I would probably read it. I was interviewed last year by some filmmakers who were planning on making a movie about CE employees. Nothing ever came of it, as far as I know.

	♥ 1:54pm drr: I got kicked out of a record store once. I was 16 (recently licensed), my brother was 14. We went to Record Bar in the mall. And the employees were playing Buckner & Garcia's "Pac-Man Fever" for some reason. And not the single, the album, with all those deep cuts you remember. Anyway, it was annoying as hell. It had gotten to "Go Froggy Go" and the clerk was away from the desk, so, without saying anything, I walked back there and took the needle off. Of course the guy flipped out and "banned" me "for life" and we didn't get to buy any records. Definitely worth it though.

UV-TV formed in Gainesville, Florida, in the mid-2010s, but by the turn of the decade they’d relocated to New York City. Their first release after moving to NYC, 2021’s Always Something, was one of EFD’s favorites of that year; they’ll play some songs from that album as well as some new songs from an upcoming release. Tune in for some post-punk jangle-drone!

The Prof. Fuzz 63 are a three-piece family band from just north of Dallas. They’re also literally a garage band. Their garage/practice space is adorned with photos of The Cramps, among others, and singer uses an old telephone handset for a mic. What else do you need to know? OK, they’re also playing May 22 at Berlin in NYC and May 23 at Finnegan’s in Hoboken.

I'm part of the Facebook group for former employees of CE and some folks remain loyalists for some inexplicable reason. They chastised the book. I would probably read it. I was interviewed last year by some filmmakers who were planning on making a movie about CE employees. Nothing ever came of it, as far as I know.

And the employees were playing Buckner & Garcia's "Pac-Man Fever" for some reason. And not the single, the album, with all those deep cuts you remember. Anyway, it was annoying as hell. It had gotten to "Go Froggy Go" and the clerk was away from the desk, so, without saying anything, I walked back there and took the needle off. Of course the guy flipped out and "banned" me "for life" and we didn't get to buy any records. Definitely worth it though.
