Though the timing interfered with my freelance work, I was hellbent on going after the pandemic. The landscapes, the seascapes, the stars at night, just incredible, especially if you think about its history. I think the best way to see Crete would be to spend a week there, driving around. (sorry about the long comment)

For years, I listened in to KEXP, while I watched a university affiliated station build like a 17M dollar studio, pimp alcohol ads endlessly, and then have a yearly week of programming spent on how addiction hurts people. It used to be a marvelous dump under the Space Needle. Anyway, my point, I f'ing love WFMU. And I suspect that the JONES that the organization has to be not supported except by listeners, is a miraculously beautiful human thing. These DJs are strorming souls, one and all of them. So ends my daily Valentine's note to WFMU. Peace from Oakland.

Though the timing interfered with my freelance work, I was hellbent on going after the pandemic. For years, I listened in to KEXP, while I watched a university affiliated station build like a 17M dollar studio, pimp alcohol ads endlessly, and then have a yearly week of programming spent on how addiction hurts people. It used to be a marvelous dump under the Space Needle. Anyway, my point, I f'ing love WFMU. And I suspect that the JONES that the organization has to be not supported except by listeners, is a miraculously beautiful human thing. These DJs are strorming souls, one and all of them.
