	9:37am Listener Robert: How would you translate "Soigne ta droite"? My first thought was like "tenez le droit", "keep right" as a traffic direction, but then I thought better, "Guard your right(s)." And maybe the ambiguity was intended. But maybe it's an ambiguity only I injected. "Soigner" has more of a meaning of care than "tener" would, but since they converge on carefulness, one might use it as a more emphatic version of "tenez" in the traffic situation, or if there were some approaching traffic literally on one's right. But, especially with the feminine "droite", it would seem to refer more likely to rights or what one is due in a legal or moral sense.

	🦀 ♥ 10:36am WR: My own concoction. cardamom, cinnamon stick, allspice, Nepali timbur & red chilli flakes. Allspice became part of the blend due running out of clove and is now preferred. All whole spices that I put into hot water the night before and then in the morning heat with added milk and the a cheap black tea, steeped at least 5 minutes. Thank you for asking.

I decided to wait until after a trip to visit family which resulted in many painful scenes when I suddenly would buck and howl in pain while trying to pop the tissue displacing out the belly button back in.

I hear you about the shortages elsewhere; the only problem is that there's no way to redirect our boosters to Africa, SouthEast Asia, etc. That's a decision that has to come from the top, and I don't see it happening too soon.

And maybe the ambiguity was intended. But maybe it's an ambiguity only I injected. "Soigner" has more of a meaning of care than "tener" would, but since they converge on carefulness, one might use it as a more emphatic version of "tenez" in the traffic situation, or if there were some approaching traffic literally on one's right. But, especially with the feminine "droite", it would seem to refer more likely to rights or what one is due in a legal or moral sense.

Not saying I don't have ego or feelings about it. But I happen to have an appetite for new material - & getting in the deep end of the stream is the fastest way to get it ! Like language immersion I suppose... I've had to Dumb Down so much, reaching even when it exceeds my immediate grasp can feel real good... TDK60 seriously. Re Silent Sculpture - of course there's the joke about the Artist with the tiny paintings & the big fat libretto... One expends all the energy on one Medium - & people want you to explain it in Words instead... So not unreasonable to be asked to meet the Artist halfway sometime...
