Hi B/P! yeah Burchette is definitely on the more intense edge of new age mysticism, he seeks revelations rather than relaxation without a doubt – the album art (which he drew of course) really exemplifies this. Perhaps the bevy of liner notes I'll be excerpting from later on will help lock you into the Master's desired psychic path

if you turn up the sound pretty loud, which Burchette explicitly recommends on many occasions, and get in The Zone, the reverb/echo really starts to become quite palpable in the air and you can feel it almost quite physically
