Hey people's!
Avatar 8:33pm
ShelbyG:

Hi Cp304!
Avatar 8:33pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...Gittar - just banging into it practically creates musics
...violin - being into & you're out of a lot of money ...not an easy instrument !
Avatar 8:33pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

*bang into it
Avatar 8:34pm
ShelbyG:

@rev: it is truly maddening sometimes, no room for error, it's either right or it's waaaaaay wrong
Avatar 8:35pm
ShelbyG:

but the way it sounds when it's right will make your heart squeeze, & the physical resonance is amazing
Avatar 8:37pm
ShelbyG:

wow, this is great!
Avatar 8:38pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

As a gittar diddler - think violin would not be so different. But whereas with gittar I'm stretching my fingers out & moving my hand as fast as I can - violin is tiny & more like typing : it's about locking hand in place - & putting fingers *precisely* where they belong (frets / no frets)... Also what is this with bowing ?? Very odd & awkward... & holding it under your chin - who came up with that - ?!... Where is my gittar...
Avatar 8:39pm
ShelbyG:

@rev: hahahaha! so true...so so true
Avatar 8:40pm
Cp304:

I thought the bow strum was much important in the fiddlee

Avatar 8:42pm
TDK60:

You're back Chresti. Rob's been rocking the studio.
Avatar 8:43pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...to top it off : Violin is tuned like the four strings @ the top (away from floor) of the Gittar ...in reverse order. Now yer just messing. :)
Avatar 8:44pm
ShelbyG:

@rev: I can get paranoid at times, like "ok, you're just fucking with me now!"
  8:45pm
Dayffid:

No I’m a Scot living in New Jersey. Real name is David. I just thought it would be fun to spell it phonetically but now everyone thinks I am welsh haha. But that’s ok.
Avatar 8:46pm
ShelbyG:

@Dayffid: well that worked out well for you, didn't it? lol 😉
Avatar 8:46pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

But of course Gittar is outside that Classical tradition in origin. Bach really wrote for Lute or Cello - & Segovia (& a few others but yeah him) had to determine to make it Respectable...
Avatar 8:48pm
Cp304:

I don't know how you fmu DJs keep finding songs of me in the shower
  8:50pm
Dayffid:

It did! I think I will just tell people in wish from now on. I think I might have a welsh grandfather anyway. People will assume I’m good at singing
