Waiting for the band to take the stage of the Hollywood Palladium on the "English Settlement" tour, a roadie came out to announce that Andy Partridge wasn't feeling well and the band would be unable to play. Found out later about his long-standing stage fright condition. Not sure, but I don't think they ever toured America again after that.

Waiting for the band to take the stage of the Hollywood Palladium on the "English Settlement" tour, a roadie came out to announce that Andy Partridge wasn't feeling well and the band would be unable to play. Found out later about his long-standing stage fright condition. Not sure, but I don't think they ever toured America again after that.
